Michigan is a very pretty state to fly over at low altitudes in the early morning and late afternoons during the summer. I had a Cessna 120, and flying around Marshall, Sturgis, Hillsdale and Athens (When they had an airport!) was very enjoyable. You have convinced me that something like a Challenger or Excaliber would be a fun and relaxing way to fly. Thank you Mike for your enjoyable and scenic videos.
@normandavis6569 I'll fly to the lake shore more. Head north or south to see some of the Beaches .

Nice video. we put solar deck lights on top of our cones. we have the same cones as your field. price wasn't to bad either. Your airplane is defiantly lit up. Good luck on the sale of your plane. There is a rans down here at my field for sale with a 912 very low hours.
Jason, can you do a sunset flight and wait for the lights to come then land. I was planing that also.
@@62heliman sunset flights are the best. Then you have approximately 30min for civil twilight. Yiu can look it up for your area to see what civil twilight is.

You need a boom mount if you want to mount it right there. All we see is half your head.

No I was only going up for an hour flight. Fuel level was at 7 gallons. 503 burn 3 gallon an hour.

You got a lot going on in that cockpit. I suggest a GoPro boom mount. I got one that goes behind my head but sticks out and you can see your whole cockpit and outside. Don’t over complicate it. Great video.

Nice flight. Stay away from those low rpm’s for long periods of time. It’s the leaner range as we’ve discussed. Do some straight and level full power runs.

For sure Jon.
I went from a 3-blade warp drive to 2 blade warp drive prop. I did notice an increase in cruise speeds with the 2 blade as its a cruise prop, but lost climbout as its not a climb prop. Warp Drive recommended 12-13 degree pitch and i am at 12 degrees for the sweet spot. Also, might want to check your full power straight and level rpm so your not exceeding 6800rpm. My static rpm is around 6250-6300with straight and leve rpm of about 6700rpm. Also Tennessee prop is out of business, that's why a lot of folks are slowly moving away from there props. Now you need to clean up that pop and buy a skull cap spinner cover lol.

Nice video. We just bought another challenger but the new one is a single seater and it came with a crew dog adsb receiver and an ipad mini mounted in the panel. hope to fly it very soon.

No more motor noise coming back into my head set with the Icom radio. I can now hear all traffic clearly. Make adjist to squelch to cut out any noise. Then your set.
