I'm wondering if you can relay the USB controller to the PC and then have emulation of the motion controls somehow recreated to function when streaming across your LAN... For instance your quest 3 is used in the basement, the console dock and PC is upstairs, the LAN connects directly. The Switch itself needs a USB connection to a 'keyboard' or controller of sorts... But what if the PC can 'emulate' a gamepad to the switch, and a function in Quest 3 can be used to map the quest 3 controller to the gamepad? For functions you cannot do due to lack of buttons, maybe pulling the trigger when you aim in different directions to your headset to trigger a shortcut? Use the grip button to alternate controls on that controller? Like on the left hand, when grip is held down the left stick becomes dpad, and trigger changes from L to the ZL. Start button is a radial/context button for the quest controller so pressing that opens a mini menu to choose a command to aim at. Quest 3 (Video/Audio/Input) <-----> PC (Emulates Input into USB gamepad) <-----> Switch (HDMI+USB connection)

The company to be fair does a lot to fix the consoles and discs so they can resell them in the first place. The same with the controllers which is why cosmetically flawed stuff is cheaper in price (Probably should be a bit cheaper then it actually is), but they do have to make the money somewhere to ensure that you have a working console and game that will last a long time. Rather than finding it, yes cheaper at a pawn shop or online, but having that chance that it’s broken to begin with. Some people don’t have the technical abilities to fix those kind of items. Is it high priced yes, but they do have to make their money somewhere and people go to them to buy games and consoles, because they can guarantee the game or console works. If it doesn’t there is always a warranty for a year.
