@@wardaddyplays Not too upbeat. It's a build video, not a rave. I do suggest muting the in game music but still record the sound effects. Then overlay different music of the final edit so the music isn't speed up. You can decide if the sound effects are worth keeping or not.

Not sure if you know this, but you CAN park boats backwards. Also, it's built in a way that it doesn't rot, I have tested it. I also have a short that refers to this build and technique 😁 Pro tip: Wood doesn't rot until destroyed either, only 50% health 👍

@splashopain I started playing at the beginning of the year. I've always been a huge fan of survival games and when I heard about it being viking survival I couldn't resist. I haven't been able to play anything else since. I absolutely love this game.

I had no idea 😅 All this time, I thought it could rot until it breaks 😂 Welp, at least the stone trick helps those of us that like that fresh wooden vibe. Thanks for the game tip, I appreciate it 🙏

I had a problem where my stairs were rotting and the rest of the structure wasn't, using the new snap points I lowered the stairs to snap directly to the edge of the stone and not the wood laying on top. For the open areas I placed the wooden floor first and I did it by looking at the stone square and not the edge of the last placed wooden floor, then place the trim by looking at the edge of the stone square. That's what worked for me.

I couldn't find anything about it, so I thought I would share 👍

Not sure when they updated it, but Wood gets the same protection as stone when snapped directly to a stone piece. The wood cannot be layered more than 1m or it will rot. Fortunately I kept that in mind when building this structure so none of it rots 👍

I wish we could combine wood with resin to make it weather resistant. I wonder if theres a mod for that.

Not sure if there's a mod or not but that would be pretty cool!

Agreed. Tar combined with resin or something at the work bench that produces a sealant that you place on, similar to repairing or something
