he Gel-Kayano is one of Asics’ most popular shoes-especially when it comes to stability. There have been some subtle but important tweaks to the shoe, mainly in the upper, midsole and outsole, but the 4D Guidance System that was loved so much in the previous version remains, and continues to deliver. Chris Balestrini does it all: trail running, road running, and track running. "Pretty much all types of running," he laughs. "I guess I could say, I'm an outdoor enthusiast." That downplays his accomplishments: He's a New Balance-sponsored athlete who holds the Canadian 50-kilometer record but also runs a smoking-fast 29:22 10K. He just finished second at the Vancouver Marathon. And he's gettin...

hell yeah
Hi Could you recommend a light weight running shoes (below 10oz, men size 9) for standing and walking long hours? Thank you. .
Nice review! Altras don't get enough visibility proportionate to their quality.
Is KAYANO 31 suitable for all day wear? Thank you
yes
And just to think...I'm so proud of Mo..just watched him finish 4th in the 10,000m at the Paris Olympics. Mr consistent!! Proud of you Mo!!
Hi Is the Novablast 4 suitable for standing all day and walking? Thank you
Canadian Running has no clue how to review shoes. 🙄 It would be cool if you actually reviewed the positives and negatives of the shoe. No offence to Matty, but please review the shoe against the last version. 🙂 These reviews are lame. Sorry, have to unsubscribe. 🤷🏻
Thank you for the review. Is the NB V4 suitable for long walks and all day wear?
You call that a review ?
It would be good if you can reduce the music volume when a dialogue is playing
im trtaining for a half marathon should i do pool running or stick to swimming on my off day
Its true to size ? Or narrow ?
I don’t know I feel like that outsole is slippery when wet
Hye dear, if my feet are 26cm long, width 10cm, can i wear 6.5UK superblast?
is this a firmer shoe then my new on cloud 4?
Is everyone sizing up or sticking to same size as they bought the SB1 in 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
Buying half size up , more room is always better
For Novablast 4, I'm using 27.5cm. Do you think with the same size this can fit mine?
Where can I buy it in Canada? I see it listed on the asics us website but not the canadian one 🥲🥲
True to size recommended.
Sizing is conflicting here. Almost everywhere else they say size is roughly the same.
Thank you for sharing, Great Review!
10mm drop ...
She has a natural myostatin deficiency. I'm so jealous!
I love this shoe. But my god it's noisy. Sounds like I'm banging on a drum every time my foot hits the floor. But it really is brilliant
Congrats Rachel on Boston 2017 hi fives SAsu, Rachel
Sand me this one. I will review in details of pros and cons.
Does it support runners with "HIGH ARCH" foot?
Am size 8.5 but i got a size 10 of this shoes. Is that ok??
Is it ok to run 10k races in. And is it on the narrow side. Did you say it has a carbon plate
For someone with large feet, do you recommend going a size up?
🔥🔥
Its not a review. Damn
Please tell me it's softer, then the 3? 3 was so firm I couldn't deal with it!
I ran a 15:30 5km in these ....solo ...awesome shoe bro !
Chris goodluck with your running ! Best wishes bro
Puma and adidas is better :)
This is not a review, sounds exactly like an infomercial.
Always like this for this channel.
@@ser1ification Lol. Of course you do.🙄
@@davidlynch9049 We think the same for this video, but I might have not explained it correct. Her review for Nike Structure 23 was good, that’s when I subscribed, but these days the reviews are flat and add no value.
what's the heel drop again?
8mm (43.5 to 35.5)
@@griffitts7 thanks dawg
Looks like a completely different shoe.
It is
Wooow
An absolute legend. RIP Ed
the 'elevator music' in the background added NOTHING Good to this video.
It’s $315 in Canada. There are workout shoes by Asics Saucony and Adidas that are cheaper for that purpose
All the other carbons that I been looking at are 329 to 349. This at 315 is priced ok for a carbon shoe.
In southeast asia, we got carbon shoes for as low as $129. You can check Anta, Ortuseight, Nineten and much more
@@izzatIHH55 that’s great but Customs Canada is cruel they’ll charge me at least $100 for each pair I import.
His 2:54 and 3:56 will always be remembered as amongst the best marathon time ever. Long live Ed!
How would these do with 5km dog walks a day?
@rememberthestoke
I was paralyzed a few months ago. Started to walk a month ago. I will run again!
