There are two ways to get around that poison gas. #1 Access the security cameras to shut down the gas. #2 Put on the Breath Mask that can be found in the Mess Hall.

Be careful with those floating sensor droids. They explode on contact and can take out a lot of your health. The best way to deal with them is to keep your distance and blast them with a mining laser. If you time it right, the blast could also destroy other nearby droids as well.
