Very hard to say which is best but I think this remastered version sounds a bit cleaner for some reason. Both good but I would choose this one.

Are the rack extensions only for Reason? How can I copy the tone if I only have Ableton?

I love this tone. My tremolo arm doesn't give this neighing sound... not sure what the problem is, too strong spring, my technique? Was it the bridge? How is the neck pickup?
