    Depends on the sutures too. Not everyone’s skeletal sutures mature at the same rate through adulthood, some are more resistant to changes because the sutures are more tightly “locked”.

    After my first home sleep test, I was told I had moderate sleep apnea, buy a cpap, and get to it. No guidance provided. It was horrible and I put the thing in the closet for a year. Then I developed PACs and AFib so needed to try to figure out how to use the cpap. Started with a clinic overnight study. Just the basics were done, no sleep analysis except for noting OSA events etc. Told again use it, try this and that face mask and the best of "luck" to you. Zoom ahead to today. I can only use a nasal pillow, have flow limitation issues, and on my side I have zero OAs but many CAs through out the night with curves jagged and flat at the top. I wake every 2 hours and am not getting any good sleep. There are a lot of us out there that either give up or self teach hoping to find an answer eventually. My heart's condition keeps me from putting that machine back in the closet. As Nicole once said, "HELP".

    Take a look at pictures of adults practicing mewing. I can personally say that I've slightly widened my palate with my tongue, and my upper and lower teeth are closer to aligning. While I still have an open bite, it's significantly improved and much more symmetric now. Previously, my jaw really leaned leftward. I'm 38 years old now, and I started about 3-4 years ago

    This completely leaves out the interaction with the Thyroid gland.... D converts T4 into T3 so that has to work as well.. it also leaves out the calming of the autoimmune responses that you get with Vit D...eliminating to tamping down most autoimmune disorders. so there's much more than Sleep Disorders

  • @shuikai272
    @shuikai272 Před 4 měsíci

    I feel like orthopedic expansion is just palatal expansion period. I mean, if you don't expand the palate but instead you just tip the teeth, that's not really palatal expansion is it? It's kind of like say you have a patient who has an underbite, and rather than suggesting surgery as an option, someone were to say well I can camouflage your bite with orthodontics and it's going to look just as good if not BETTER than jaw surgery, and it'll move your bones, etc. and nobody will even be able to tell you had an underbite. I mean if that was the sales pitch, like that's not actually going to happen so to me it just is not legitimate. So a palatal expansion with no palatal expansion just kind of seems like the same kind of deal to me.

    • @wadeband10
      @wadeband10 Před 4 měsíci

      ron fails to mention that sometimes braces tip the teeth inwards so depending on the case sometimes tipping the front teeth fowrawrd can provide enough relief for tmj and jaw pain because then when you bite down your teeth wont be hitting eachother so much. i like ron but hes too one dimensional thinking expansion only he doesnt mention the teeth hardly at all and thats important as well for many people what position there teeth are in .

    I wonder how this all changes when one is dealing with chronic infections like tick diseases? I’ve been in treatment since 2015.. I did a couple years of herbals which did not work and I nearly died multiple times. April 2018 I started on multiple antibiotics and improved but the antibiotics have to be changed up every several months bcs symptoms come back. I just retested with igenex spring 2023 and I’m still positive for borellia, babesia & Bartonella.. It has been incredibly challenging to know what to do to treat the infections as well as to identify and correct nutritional deficiencies that may be contributing, causing, or being caused by the pathogens or the treatment. I also had to realize all the symptoms being caused by all the plants I was eating. Now I just eat meat, raw butter, raw eggs, and full fat coconut milk and have improved considerably, but not fully healed yet. I’m sure that with daily antibiotics I just can’t get my gut flora back online appropriately. I really wish I could discover this info or work with a dr who knows about all these topics and issues!

    B-50 seems like a questionable idea. The RDA of each B vitamin is different, but these pills just arbitrarily provide either 50 mg or 50 mcg of each, so for some like Biotin you get 167% of the RDA, and for others like Thiamin (B-1) you get 4167% of the RDA!
