I’m very new to watches. Any idea why there would not be full rhodium coating?? Very impressed by your staff and facilities. Thank you for posting.
Good question! It might have been a choice by the owner to remove or add that Rhodium coating. Victor was implying that we don’t know weather or not the original straight out of the box watch had full coating or not, But we really aren’t supposed to change anything on a watch unless the costumer says so, so we just kept this one as is!

@@phigora A company does things larger scale, say introduces a new watch line, or sets up a new store. There’s no company when polishing one watch, or making a cup of coffee. It’s just a person. :) I think you should take credit for your work, but find a different way. Better, do a good job, selflessly and give it a bit of time; people will freely recognize you. That feels best!

I’m particularly interested in understanding the inner workings of watches, from basic mechanics to more advanced aspects. Could you provide some information about any courses you know of, or suggest where I might find a good program? I’d also appreciate any advice on what to look for in a quality watch mechanics course.
We are working on one ourselves! As far as specific ones in mind there is the horological society of New York. They have some courses online!

@@phigora I was referring to the finish of the watch and not the finish of your servicing😂 For a watch in that pricerange you would expect proper movement finish including perlage, Geneva striping , anglage, cuntersunk screws perfectly aligned etc, etc, etc. Looked like a cheap chinese movement to me to be honest..

It's getting ridiculous at this point. "Everything so far looks to be perfectly genuine but... As you can see, this watch is fake because when you zoom into this screw at 1000X magnification you can see the hidden bar code authenticator is actually glowing with a bright greenish bio-luminescent hue. It's supposed to be a darker greenish hue." It's like ok how much do these genuine watches *actually* cost to make then.
