Hi, I've got an old copymaster 400 and I was wondering are there any firmware updates for these machines? I cannot find any information anywhere about these machines.

The point is to tell you how much filament is left before a job so you know if you can print on what's left in the spool. Not there to give you amount being used. I'm sure if people like the concept more will be developed.

Yeah, that is not how that thing work. Note in the video that when it is zoomed out the display is dark. Once it is dark and you turn it back on, you need to recalibrate it by lifting off the spool, place an empty spool, double tap and replace back to the now printing spool. This is seriously flawed product. And the display is only live if it senses weight changes. And as few prints are fast enough to make the scale register change within the few seconds that the display is live, yeah, this was a really cool idea, but extremely poorly executed. It is so obvious they don't even use it themselves. It does have an USB port for charging. Hopefully there will come a flash upgrade for it but not sure it can even retrieve data.

Hello - Great video ! I get upto step 10 and when I re-home to test the off set , the off set is all ways out. I physically need to go into the adjust menu when printing and compensate the X Axis - could you assist please ? Thanks

I received mine yesterday and what bums me out, is that the display turns off within a few seconds. Touch to turn it back on... and it's Zeroed out and goes into the negatives as the printer uses filament. I wanted to use this in timelapse videos w/ Clock as well. But I suppose it's just for pre/post weighing. BUT IF I'M MISSING SOMETHING, Please reply!

Need to add a function to add empty spool weight manually (maybe a ring potentiometer around the screen?), then companies can release that information on the box.

Very pretty but completely impossible to print with.. I've printed probably 10kg filament from Clas Ohlson. But can't make a single successful print with this filament...

I have fitted two BLtouch sensors before and spent forever troubleshooting them, resoldering connectors, custom firmware (in one case the sensor came wired incorrectly and smoked the motherboard!)... this time it was spectacularly easy to get things up and running, your kit (bought from Amazon UK), your video and firmware really saved the day - thank you!

Where do you add the rest of the g code? After you close the printer settings the video opens up to the FFF settings. Where do you find that?

Hi. Thanks for the video and explanations! I followed to a tee but when I go to home it the hot end goes to the back right corner, as stated in video, but that's it. The hot end just stays there and the bed moves a couple mm down and it's done, and won't move up even manually. All wires are connected and seated. At a loss....

Do you have to babystep it all the time?

I've followed all the steps, but as soon as I get to the 'Auto Home' section at 9:30, my printer can't auto home. Anyone else had this issue?

Can somebody answer me a question please? Why when I have followed all the above steps... do the settings not save to the SD card? Meaning I have to re setup the printer every time I turn it on? So frustrating!!

Just casually skip the step of calculating the new e steps with the new dual guide setup. Afaik these are more powerful and require more e steps given they advertise to be around 1.5x the e steps of the defaults creality provides (93-96 depending on the ender you use, 142 or so for these dual kits)

FYI... I recently purchased an Ender 3 V2 recently, I ran it a bit, before 'upgrading' it. The wires to the terminal on the mainboard were loose, I noticed that they had been tinned with solder. This is a very bad wiring practice, solder is not compressible and connections will loosen, after time. At a minimum twisting the wires then putting them into the terminal, would have been a better choice. An even better choice (and an approved wiring standard) would be to install a ferrule, on the end of the wire (clip the soldered end off first). I have to use a different bracket so my offsets will not be the same, can you share the source code for the firmware?

Also everything working great as normal i leveled with paper everything 100% to video however issues with my z offset 1st 20 layers say of print are fine then the nozzle grinds against the print so have to move up offset 0.10 n then another 0.10 later through the print

Just put the reset settings gcode on sd and inseted into ender 3 v2 and click print exact same as video and my doesnt say complete confirm ???
