    I'm always looking for the oldest embotido recipe cuz these days, it's so rare to find one. Every embotido in every store were all fake. I mean they're all in modern recipe amd I really hate it especially those embotido made from meatloaf. Yuck! I'm always craving for that old embotido brought by my dad when I was a kid. The taste was light. It's haed to explain but I will never forget it's taste. Those embotidos we found these days were very salty- like they all put every seasoning just to make it good. This lazy generation just throwing random ingredients then called it embotido even it doesn't taste like embotido. I hope this recipe is the one that I'm looking for. If I couldn't find those imbotidos made using the old recipe then I will made my own.

    Great video. I considered trying this, but it takes the same amount of time as my T-Fal deep fryer and I don't have to worry about cleaning up the oil afterwards - it has a container under the unit that filters the oil for re-use or simply emptying into a container for disposal. My chicken is always super crispy and moist on the inside.

    Our family was in the business of selling meats including chicken. The way you slaughter the chicken is different from the commercial method that we do. We boil water, turn the flame off and then we blanche the dead chicken by submerging it in the boiled water for a few seconds. Then lift the chicken. This time, its feathers can be pulled easily. If you find some feathers that cannot be pulled easily, you can return the chicken to the boiled water, lift it again and then pull all the remaining feathers. Be sure that the boiled water is still hot like when it has just come from the flame. The resulting dressed chicken looks clean and no dark spots. The chicken dressed this way will look like those sold in supermarkets. WARNING: Do not submerge the chicken in boiled water for a long time so the flesh and skin will not pull apart. You need not use a tweezer to pull off all the roots of the feathers that were intact in the chicken's skin after burning the feathers in fire. majority of the feathers' roots have already been easily pulled off after 2x of submersion. You will save a lot of time and effort using our method.

    I tried this in my Instant Pot once. And the chicken came out spectacular. First tried with wings, they were so juicy and delicious. Then tried, very cautiously, the big boy of dark meat, the infamous, untrimmed, chicken leg quarter. Was scared at first and the first time, it came out good but not crispy due to an error I discovered out of me bein too cautious, and not trusting the equipment's limits. Then tried again and, Bingo. I've discovered IP Chicken nirvana. LOL.😇😂 I've since done it three more times in the IP and decided I needed to slow down and switch it back to my bangin' po mans chicken curry. Mmmm, so delicous. 😊
