Jason and Casey are regulars at the shop and their surfboards have been creating quite a buzz with surfers, especially the regulars on the south side of Huntington Beach Pier.

Just lay your screen on the flat side of the pad (self adhering), put your hand on the convoluted side (fits like a glove) and scrub the scratches away! We finally got our acts together and glassed the Quantum Quad Fish that was shaped in the EZ Shaping Box. The glassjob took place at Tim Stamps factory and we used UV catalyzed resin to do the board complete in 2-1/2 hours! It was a treat working with the UV resin but we almost ran out of sunlight. Micro Round Rasp used to cut Swallow Tail in Stamps Fish Surfboard

The Microplane Large Round Rasp is an excellent tool for shaping swallowtails. It does not tear the foam or wood. Instead, it leaves a clean, smooth finish. Pro surfers Rob Machado and Pat O'Connell came out to the Sacred Craft Show to shape a surfboard in front of hundreds of people. The two surfers/shapers were mic'ed up and placed inside a fishbowl type shaping bay for everyone to watch and listen. Nice safety glasses while using the die grinder...moron! pick out 1 piece of glass (if you can ever see again) out of your eye, and you’ll know what I have known for over 45 yrs....wear your safety glasses!!

Hey guys - when video cuts to "dial in bottoms and contours," and Stamps runs the carpenter level across the bottom stringer and rocks it back and forth near the tail at 4:00 - would you say this is the V-section shapers refer to, that helps the board go from rail to rail?

SURFAWOLF enough to saturate the cloth especially on the lam coat, it’s better to put too much resin on and let the excess drip off into a bucket or something to reuse until it kicks than it is to have dry cloth spots mixed in w the hardened lam coat

Goucla562- while it is true having some exp will help, but you can learn how to shape by watching. So far I shaped 4 boards, some better than others.just watch read up about basics and shape! Have fun.
