From the start I place the plant around the ston then cover erred with a net then as the plant grew through the holes of the fine mesh I trimmed it with scissors

How did you make it look like balls or hills did you just trim it that way or tie it to some rocks for shape
It's the shape of the object you put it on. You can lay it on a tile for more of a flat looking surface or use round rocks for a more hill shape.
Your Black phantom tetra at 0:12 is a ham! Tank looks amazing, would love to see an update for it.

They grow in medium to high lighting with CO2 the best IMO
