Something like at an anthem of the year that's passed for me. A ceremonial song that i turned into this instrumental composition. Theres guitar, slide guitar, charango, ronroco, piano, and lots of rattles. At the end, a small videoclip from a spontaneous dance invitation (with cacao and cake outside the San Pedro church in Cuzco, Peru, with my japanese buddy Makoto.

I woke up with this melody going through my whole being tonight. The dream itself i cant recall, but i feel like my recording process can clearly describe it. Theres a sense of discomfort, sedation, and also a very strong pull, that at least i felt as a very beautiful otherworldly experience. Though the melody is very simple, the layers create alot of complexity and overall its really very trip...

guitars, charango and melodica. So cool learning how to record, master and organize sound. I dont use any EQ or effects most of the time, or loop my recordings, so i keep it pretty raw. It always makes me so happy to see the result of my effort and share it :) This time i tried something new with the background video, that i had on my pc from some time ago.

April was a good guitarist but, IMO, unfair to classify her as a female guitarist. She was actually a tranny and lived around the corner from me for awhile around ‘69-70; also taught guitar to a friend of mine while still a guy. Ironically, she taught guitar at a store where a real female, incredible guitarist named Ronni Crooks, was a regular customer. Crooks played on a lot of recordings, movie soundtracks and in the NYC club scene for years, as well as gigs in Europe….also very Beck-like in her rock playing but began as a jazz player, schooled by Billy Bauer, who also taught Satriani.
The pioneer of female rock guitarists. I was surprised that the lead was a woman when it came out.

Wow, thank you for uploading Touch's album songs! In 1969 they were regulars at Electric Circus in St. Louis County. I really enjoyed their shows... Also, good frequent bands there were, Offshore Movement and Truth.

Det er de færreste der kan tåle sprut og galar. Kun hærdede kan tåle det. Som Freak Brothers siger: At drikke og ryge tjald samtidigt er som at pisse mod vinden. Her tager CV Jørgensen sig en kunstnerisk frihed, hvilket er OK. Men lad så være med sådan noget lort: CV Jørgensen er Gud.
