The spare o ring is for the original seat the bike comes with you can use it as an elastic strap to hold your registration and card info under your seat instead of in the rear seat cowl

Thank you for this video! I've been looking for a simple, affordable and sturdy way to let my 3 dogs travel comfortably all at once, so one of them has to be in the backseat. I was thinking of buying one of those seat extenders, they look really handy but not very strong built. Also they seem very pricey for what it is! I think I'm gonna give a try at building one similar to this!

My dog weighs 100 lbs and the âheavy dutyâ pet extenders are stupid expensive and would probably fall apart. This looks like a winner!

For those who want a simpler solution and don't have the tools then the folding PetDek is the answer. At 12 lbs and a 60 second install or removal it makes it easy.
My check engine light came on after I changed the fuse as well but it was exactly the same one and got it from auto zone. Any idea why the light wonât go away for me
All I can think is a faulty fuse. Maybe try another and see. Did you Google it yet?
Maybe also clean the fuse "receptacles"

Price of lumber these days i found extender for 34 bucks on amazon..with storage..says it will fit my truck but wont known till it gets here...instill might be doing this so thanks.
I'm pretty sure I have seen the one you are talking about or something like it. Hopefully, it works for you. I have very little faith in products these days- Not much is built to last. Even with lumber prices how they are, you could still build this for under $25. The 5/4 deck boards are overkill- same with landscape timbers but I had them. Depending on how fancy you want it you could even use something like fence pickets and 2x2, or 2x4s, and that would cost less than $20....maybe $15. Good luck & thanks for watching.
As it ever overflowed I'm wanting to put one in my house?
We have 2 installed, 1 being inside, and have never had a problem. It uses a float system like in a toilet tank so I don't think it could overflow unless the float-hinge somehow got stuck down.
We Floridians are so used to with alligators. If we don't bother them they don't bother us, still cool to see them every time. And yes, have to be careful with dogs and little kids. Nice video, thanks. đ

Do you mean blinkers? It's the same one I replace in the video(7.5). The headlight is labeled. It is either independent 7.5 or may be 15.

You shouldnât have coated the bottom of the post. You essentially created a rubber container. Any moisture that gets into the post has no way to drain out of the bottom of the post since itâs sealed.
Yeah, I thought about that. Beyond the fence is a wetland. There is typically standing water 3' below the surface. I figured the posts would have a better chance with the moisture that gets in, as opposed to sitting in water constantly. The posts were free. If I get 3 years, it's ok.
The ground is so wet, moisture in the post probably wouldn't be able to escape anyway
Does the water bill get expensive from this?
Not at all but I guess it depends how many animals are drinking from it and how much. The 2 pitbulls and 4 cats haven't affected the water bill at all.

It does not run constantly. It only runs when it needs to fill. It uses a float mechanism, similar to a toilet tank.

That's a grub, the minute I haul out the splitter, our chickens come running. I usually leave all the split wood laying around a few days so the chickens can get rid of all the grubs, then start stacking.
That is a great idea. We need to get some chickens. Do the beetles get in the wood if it sits too long? It was almost 3 years since we had cut those trees. I've rarely seen them in fresher wood.
@@ShortnCocky The grubs do morph into beetles, I'm not sure if those beetles in turn would lay more eggs in the dead wood. I do worry about carpenter ants, so tend to stack all firewood away from any of my buildings. Our free-range chickens inspect the stacks often.
Great video man. I've been researching for these extenders all over and this seems like the most stable and easiest solution. One question. Why did you use 2 pieces for the top? Is it because you didn't have a wide enough piece of wood?
Thanks man. That means a lot! I've been wanting to redo this video due to the quality. I had the deck boards laying around and just went with those but 1 piece would be better, and easier. I only needed 9" for my truck so that may have been a hard find. I should have stripped both boards for an even look, instead of 5.5/3.5 but it works. It has been a permanent part to the backseat since I did the videođ The problem now is I need to make the dogs a step to get in.

@@ShortnCocky thanks man! I just cultivate now. I'm filling in rocks today. I used an 18 inch corrugated trench pipe. I dug down waist deep, cleared some massive roots, now I need to collect rocks from the creek to fill in. I also need a lid.
Cool. As long as it holds water, and add enzymes one a month, it should work. Make sure you put the starter in at first. Rid-x ,green gobbler, etc. Cultivating is good. I like the whole processđ
