Qigong eight pieces of brocade
Qigong became known outside China, where it was a popular type of exercise, during the 1990s. Today it is common to consider taiji as a type of qigong, traced back to an origin in the seventeenth century. In modern practice, qigong focuses more on health and meditation than martial applications. It is used to build strength, develop breath control, and increase vitality ("life energy"), as it is believed to improve lung functions, exercise capacities, and perhaps even the quality of life.
As you can see from this video, it is not difficult to practice qigong. By following and repeating the eight exercises that Mai Cheng does here, you can learn to master the so-called Brocades of Qigong:
1) Holding Up the Universe
2) Drawing the Bow and Letting the Arrow Fly
3) Separating Heaven and Earth
4) Gazing Into the Distant Past
5) Swaying the Head and Wagging the Tail
6) Touching the Heaven and Honoring the Earth
7) Punching and Glaring
8) Raising the Heels and Releasing the Stagnant Qi

Cala Galdana - we were told that the name comes from the Arabian Guad-al Ana - is located between Morro de Ponent and Penyal Vermell and is bordered by cliffs crowned by pines and buildings. From the cliffs you can enjoy wonderful panoramic views on this coastal section. Our hotel, the Meliá Cala Galdana, was located on these cliffs, and that is where Mai Cheng did taiji besides the pool. The o...

We have been told that there are 262 beaches on Mallorca. Among them, you find this one, which is called Playa de Muro. It is not only among the most stunning on the island, but often mentioned as one of Europe’s top beaches. Much of its golden sands backed by pines or dunes, while calm shallow waters make it perfect for families; and despite its length (6km) it remains one of the island’s clea...

According to National Geographic, Valldemossa is the most beautiful village in the world. The prestigious magazine writes: "Just 24 kilometres separate Palma de Mallorca from Valldemossa, and it is a pleasure to drive along them. The Ma-110 road winds up and down between bends that adapt to the mountainous geography of the north of the island. You leave behind some cyclists who suffer and enjoy...
Taiji in Alcudia

The beaches at Alcudia are the longest and largest in Mallorca. Bahía de Alcudia borders the bahía de Alcudia from the marina of Puerto de Alcudia to Canpicafort. A superb beach, it is a continuous ribbon of white sand set between the fauna of the region and of course the glistening Mediterranean. Because of its length those who like a challenge can seemingly walk to the horizon. There, you can...

This horse-shoe beach which is called Cala Galdana is a picture-postcard from certain angles, bookmarked by limestone cliffs and pine trees, with Caribbean blues and whites colouring the sea and sand. The calm water is ideal for swimming, and the relatively hard sand is perfect for taiji. As soon as Mai Cheng landed in Menorca, she went to the beach and started to practice her taiji, as she doe...
Taiji at Stonehenge
zhlédnutí 34Před měsícem
"Time and Space" is a creation of art that is often called a modern version of the British landmark Stonehenge. You find it in a bare and desolate stretch of rocky headland on Ibiza’s south west coast, over a beach that is called Cala Conta. The sculpture was commissioned by Cirque du Soleil founder Guy Laliberte and created by Australian artist Andrew Rogers. Quiet and remote places like this ...

Nydelig 👍
A bude večeře. Pozdrav z České republiky.
Wow! For et sted 🤩
Fantastisk May! Nydelig form og musikk:)🥰
Já fiz essa viagem, e tocaram essa música foi surreal 😊
The ship played this music while sailing out of the habour. I remember that. But I don't remember which habour it was.
Video molto bello!
All the videos of Mai on CZcams are filmed in 4K, i.e. the resolution is greater than an ordinary TV (which is HD). So yes, you may cromecast the videos on most modern TVs.
VR is fantastic nowadays. One can create any insane made up 3D world just like this.
Yes, but this is real. I made another video when the main syclone hit the island, and that one would have been better with VR because the water was covering everything, including my lens.
@@mister_jacobsen Just joking but it does look like it's from a movie.
What’s the history behind this form, please?
The music was excellent Watermelon man, Herbie Hancock on the road. Beautiful baby...
You had crossed the border at minute 10:48. When the road started at SS1.

The music accompanying your video is excellent! Made me feel like I was driving with a longtime friend. :) Thank you for the video!
🤣
i will visit one day and do a roadtrip all the way from germany down the coast on my future bike
Good trip! I've been driving from Norway to France and back almost 60 times the last 30 years, and the voyage is always different and never boring. But I go by car. Driving a bike all that way would be too hard for me!
I had a dream I made this drive in a sports car last night it was so vivid but never see this video or been lol
Good music Grateful if the details of music is known
It is known. If you click on "Music" below the video, you should see a list of the songs.
Did I hear you right that Sony will be releasing a 20-600 mm f1.2? And when? Does physics allow that?
Unfortunately, the physical laws make it almost impossible. The closest I know is Tamron's 35-150mm, which starts at f /2. I bought it a week ago and am quite happy. To me, it seems as sharp as Sony's 70-200mm, although autofocus may not be as fast. My new Tamron also weighs a little more (over 1.1 kilos), so a zoom of f/1.2, if ever made, will probably weigh 2-3 kilos!
nice music choice…
Something new, music! Drove this road a few times but it quiet then..
Spoiled by music. Unwatchable.
It's the sound of a jazz radio in the car. If you don't like it, turn down the sound. Or don't watch the video.
Spoiled by music. Unwatchable. Ambient road sounds is all you need to creat atmosphere
What you hear is the jazz radio, plus the ambient road sound that is normal in an electric car. If If you don't like it, turn down the sound. Or don't watch the video.
No music please
😱🤣🤣
Does it make any soft clunking noise when you move the lens up and down?
When you say so, maybe it does. I didn't notice it before now, but there is a sound, like something is stuck inside the lens. Could it be the OSS (Optical SteadyShot) that causes it?
I felt like I was sitting across the table from you having a conversation. Great feel! Congratulations on the new lens. I plan to order this lens next week with a 2.0 Teleconverter.
That's good to hear. The lens is fun to use. I just bought the new A7 iv, and the 70-200mm fits better there than on the A7C. The other day I while I went out for some street photography, and it turned out that I had forgotten to remove the tele-converter. I came home with many interesting close-ups of people's hats and noses.
@@mister_jacobsen Hahaha!
Silence, speech. or music render a good road video unwatchable. You need to hear the road and traffic sounds to compliment the visual aspect, not someone's chit chat or their taste in music.
Hi John, thanks for the comment. What you hear in the video is exactly what I heard inside the car - I have not removed the "road and traffic sounds", as you write. But I drive an electric sedan, and it's quiet. The car has no engine sound and is well insulated. I just put the camera on the dashboard, turned it on while listening to the jazz radio. I'm aware that many people do not like jazz, but why not lower the volume on the video?
I agree with another comment. Music awful and time of day with the sun low in the sky. Taste in music varies, better without it. All other road videos are without it.
I really enjoyed your video!!! Love the wonderful humour and information!! Love from Vermont
Thank you!

Quelle joie de faire des exercices avec May que je n'oublie pas et qui manque
It seems to be some years old.
Made it in January 2020
This video would’ve been good if not for two things. The first being the music it was awful & the second being the time of day chosen the sun spoilt it
