For those unaware of the humor behind the fact the two start making out, in My Fair Lady there is an entire song called "A Hymn to Him" that talks about how women are so mysterious and emotional, and why can't a woman be more like a man, because if the woman that they loved were just their best male friend then it would be so easy because they would be so alike and know how to treat one another. I remember seeing this wen it first aired and was what thw devil 🤣 at one point fox cut that kiss at the end out, but I haven't seen this episode on TV in years so it's probably put back in, times have changed and that a little more acceptable humor now 😀
