Just to clarify, you didn't actually do anything different with pier placement, correct? I didn't see any toggle for "transition pier". Edit: Why did the first pier placement not work? Was the problem that you had the elevation box checked?

Every time I "check in" a .DGN file from ProjectWise, an additional copy of the same .DGN file is automatically created within the .OBDX Workspace. I now have multiple .DGN files within OpenBridge Designer that are essentially the same file. How can I prevent this from happening?

What are you applying the first fixed constraint to? It just appears with no footage of what is fixed. Should likely increase the FPS that your screen capture software runs at so your videos are not as choppy.

"Profile by Constant Elevation" tool is broken according to a post on the forum. Can workaround by using the "Set Element Elevation" tool or manually moving to the correct elevation.

All these webinars should be available here on Bentley´s OpenBridge (and others) CZcams channel. Many of them are "non-listed" videos, which makes them unavailable to the target public.

The BIM workflow looks like such a pain. I thought the point of BIM was to have the model and analysis software work together. As you have it, the analysis is completely dependent on the model. I can see that some things would be difficult to change such as the span lengths, but beam locations, size, materials, pier element dimensions, would all be easier to allow change in the design software, then update the model. Seems like Bentley just did the minimum work necessary to be able to say "We do BIM" and not actually integrate their software fully.

How can I generate quantities for steel reinforcement? I have a fully detailed model using ProStructures and when bringing it back into OBM it does not include the steel into the quantities report?

We dont have pretensioned girder (strand pattern: straight and draped) and instead post-tensioned girder with p[parabolic profile of tendon . However i want to follow the AASHTO code for loading but the parabolic profile comes when we select the Indian code ....Is it possible to have parabolic profile tendon and design of girder using AASHTO ???
