You corner the enemy with his Meat Squasher, then afraid them with claps, counter they jump with the backbreaker and if they try a throw they would be getting into your grab range. Now grab them would TAKE THEM OUT the corner. But also let TO YOU scape from the corner and punish them REALLY HARD trying to make pressure staying close to you because "Woops. Now you recieved a lot of damage AND you're te cornered one". That changes a lot or interactions. Is not a nerf, neither a buff, is... A change.

Wow, this was 3 years ago but still. Imagine if a real player aside from Daigo really mastered the parry technique that will be truly a beast of a player. The TAS here if without the parry technique because of the EX or in the selection, Dan's movement would be a cautious one but because of the parry he can smack dab taunt every character he faces, and parries any moves. Hahaha, wish I could do that and parry every move thrown and then taunt.😆My opponent aside from being defeated will be very very upset.

I could watch these all day. How could I play the game with these?

Smmfh its obvious the 3rd Strike community doesnt know how to make a tasteful balance patch....instead of adding unnecessary shit where it isnt needed, you should always start where a problem or potential problem persists. Like Sean's dp and tatsu. Its the weakest anti-air in the game of 3rd Strike and he can be thrown out of ex dp. Garbage. Instead, give him his SI dp and tatsu and the ability to combo into a super after tatsu like in SI and not just Makoto specific like in 3rd. Give ibuki a slight damage buff because she has to work hard to see average results plus a super from SI. Urien could benefit from being able to link off of his low forward otherwise he's fine. The rest of the roster is ok as is. Thats a very tasteful and respectful mod that brings sean up from bottom tier to upper mid tier. A mod like this could actually see competitive play in tournaments if done correctly. But this super garbage is unnecessary and nobody takes it seriously.

This era of fighting games really understood the interplay between different archetypes. The newer games are way too hung up on making everyone either a mishmash hybrid or 1-trick gimmick character with nothing in-between.
