Not to discourage your efforts 😬except for the breakfast .. none of those foods are actually moroccan .. the lunch was just vaguely (and not authentically) middle eastern which is not where Morocco is .. and that dinner recipe! ... let's just say that those ingredients (although used in Motoccan cooking) do not necessarily go together in the same dish ...

Jaffa "Cakes" have been scientifically proven to be Cakes hence the name. There is nothing more to it and no need for debate. "But you eat it them like biscuits"...I have never understood this argument. The art of eating is 1. Open mouth. 2. Insert food item. 3. Chew. 4. Swallow. So, how you eat it makes no difference. Also, if I were to eat cake, I would accompany it with a mug of coffee, and if I were to eat biscuits I would accompany them with a mug of coffee, so there is literally no difference in "how" they are eaten. One more thing on "Jaffa" Cakes...The word "Jaffa" implies orange, so why on earth are they now coming out with different flavours!?! These Bao Buns are gorgeous but as you noticed, if they have just been heated, they are ridiculously hot, almost to the point of being dangerous. My favourite filling for this is the Duck with Hoisin Sauce. "I am giving it a 4 because we cooked it wrong,. If we had cooked it in the oven I would give it a 5"??? 🤣 Come on guys! You cannot deduct points for your own mistakes. Pastry of any description does not belong anywhere near a microwave, where you are effectively steaming it!!!

Used to have rhubarb in our garden. Rhubarb crunch is a fav family desert. Think cobbler style cooked rhubarb with brown sugar oatmeal crumble on top. Serve it with vanilla ice cream - that’s Midwest US heaven.

I drank a carbonated rhubarb lemonade the other day. It was outstanding. I went back and bought ten more. If you live in Sweden, buy Spirit of Sweden's rhubarb lemonade! You won't be disappointed.
