If anybody reads this this, I have a beautiful 2008 limited for 5 mos now 127K miles and just wanted to know what's the easiest way to tighten up the steering. I've read switching out the shocks can help. And perhaps lowering springs. Does anyone have any experience with swapping out these two items? I'm from the stanced club and I'm not looking to start replacing sway bars and all that, and have matured a little bit haha, however I miss the tightness of some cars from my past that I added modifications to to tighten up the steering while cornering. I have a knowing it's not a sport sedan but I would like to make it a little more sporty in terms of the way it handles

I live in Christchurch New Zealand and I have a Mustang fastback GT 2019 5L V8 in a twisted orange 10 speed automatic. I brought him in March this year 2024 low kms and it’s like brand new. I was sold when I heard him start up OMG 😱 he sounds awesome 😎👍🏽

My 2008 Avalon Limited is a gem. So quiet, and loaded with options. In addition to all the usual options, it has a reclining back seat, rear window power sunscreen, JBL stereo(awesome), and even has radar adaptive cruise control ! In 2008! Sadly it only has Bluetooth for phone calls, not for music playback, but added an aftermarket fix. I have replaced the alternator and a water pump. It has 175,000 miles and runs as good as new.

I have the 2007 Toyota Avalon XLS… and love it! Smooth, Spaces & Luxurious… The rear seat reclines back. The cabin is insanely quiet. When my adult sons were younger… they loved the ride!

Mine is a XLS 2012 with 130000 km, still drives and feels like I just bought it! 💎

I have a 2013 Avalon Limited and wish the rear had recliner to go back lol but i am in love with my Avalon and runs smooth at 172K miles. Easy maintenance and very spacious inside all around.

just got an 06 loaded with all the features with only 60k miles on for $9.5k in total including repairs

Toyota switched to the 3.5L V6 with the new generation starting 2005. The engines in the 05 and 06 model have some problems, 07-12 models are safe bet for this generation

It's Cute, I still Prefer My Lexus LS430. I almost purchased an 08 Avalon. Definitely a Close 2nd 💯. Really Awesome Car!

My 08 has 275k on it great ride but it has bad lighting issues. Headlights go out you have to off/on them then ok for awhile. Third brake light is bad in rear window have to remove rear seat and moldings to even get to it. A few other problems now the A/C blower is going bad just ordered that.

I own a 2000 Yoyota Avalon XLS here in Victoria B.C. with 335,000 kms on it. The best car I have ever owned. I tried out a 2007 model and found it too big. Not at all the same feel or ride as mine. Other than regular oil changes , one new set of front brakes and a new set of tires mine has had zero maintenance required. I get terrific gas mileage on the highway. It is extremely quiet , has plenty of power and is very comfortable . The interior is real leather and shows little wear. I can't bring myself to sell this and decided to do a timing belt kit replacement and run it for another 100,000 kms as even the dash and layout is still nicer than any car I have driven. I keep looking for one with low kms of this generation but with no luck so far . The only reason I would consider changing is that I prefer a blue interior where mine is grey. Just love this car.

I just acquired a 2008 XLS that my dad bought new when he passed recently. It has 183k on it and drives like a new car. I have a folder that's a solid inch think of all his maint records on it. Hoping to get another few years out of it

Why cant the lane assist camera in the front also be a camera? Would be great to help with checking for front clearance when parking.

It's definitely the best generation avalon.....quite possibly the best Toyota ever made hands down. I have a 2005 with 114k.

I purchased my 2007 Avalon Touring in 2008 and I figured if 40 and 60 year old cars are being restored, Why would I pay today's ridiculous prices. I much rather put $6,000 or $8,000 in a car I put the bulk of the mileage.

So does that model have Bluetooth for making and receiving phone calls? This video is great.

My 01 Avalon has 210,000 miles and I changed the timing belt recently and even did new struts in the front. Yes I spent almost $2000 on it but I have confidence in this car and she deserved it. Drives like new. In hwy she seem to be even better. I been babying it with synthetic oil changes and constant preventive defense. I also have an 08 I can’t decide which I like better.

Really debating getting this car used for 30k. Could treade in my car and put like a 4k down payment and only have to pay $320 a month for 4 years. Actually affordable for me im pretty excited!
