Pasig River Report Episode 10 (2014): Barangay 662 I-PUSH Solid Waste Management Campaign
We launched the I-PUSH Solid Waste Management Campaign with Communication Research students from UP Diliman, River Warriors, and barangay officials headed by Chairperson Teresita Sikat at Barangay 662, Paco, Manila. This campaign aims to increase awareness and knowledge about solid waste management in the community, where Estero de Santibanez was recently rehabilitated.

I cannot express my joy and happiness for the transformation of Manila, not only the Pasig River, Manila Bay, Paco, Tondo, Divisoria and all the places that need cleaning. Many thanks to Miss Gina Lopez, coming from Chicago, Pasig River reminds me of the Chicago River, beautiful and clean with flowers and fountain across the river and a nice architectural boat ride. Don't let the squatters come, rhey dont care.

Dirty rivers are breeding place for mosquitoes that brings deadly malaria,dengue and other harmful diseases to people of the community,so it is so nice to see the well transformed clean river for the whole community to benefit,but cooperation from everyone is essential to keep the way you people can be proud of.
Clean rivers has so much to offer and have potential usage by the community and can improve the quality of air and cleaner environment.
