Great video. Does the customer who buys the template pay Squarespace for their monthly subscription fee (which you avoided doing)? And also, I didn't understand how you avoided paying for each template you designed. Do you do the free trial and then copy the website, and somehow you don't get charged for the template--how did you do that?

hi i am making a notion templete where its based on weekly planner and a todo list and has a journal option in there my query is if i want to sell that templete online i would do need to disable edit option to the customer because they might alter the same templete and sell to others but the only problem is a customer must do need to alter todo list based on his preferences so how to make only alter the to do list table and disable to edit other things in the templete

I am a graphic designer so I design / re-design and sell my own items directly (with the exception of illustrations I use from the artist themselves with commercial rights for certain images I use). So......I RECENTLY heard about PLR and Master Resell Rights. After watching a ton of videos to understand what these type of products are.....I realized they are NO DIFFERENT than using Canva Templates and re designing the! or.... those who already have access to Creative Fabrica with thousands of commercial free use items when you pay into a Creative Fabrica membership or...no different than going on Pinterest or Etsy and looking around at other folks designs and just hand designing it from scratch and copying their layout / idea / etc. = this IS what "graphic design IS" (which is only like $75 to start off then later about $40/year) So all these website popping up claiming to sell PLR Products are just taking your money when most of everyone already uses Canva and can create their own products for FREE and then you can STILL SELL THEM AS PLR in your OWN SHOP. If the whole idea of buying PLR products means you are going to change up the colors, fonts, maybe the layout on a few of them = it's the SAME as picking a template in canva or workbook or planner already put together, and creating your OWN PRODUCTS without having to buy someone else's PLR product to also then re-design. This is why I think it's funny that so many of these PLR shops are just popping up left and right.

So we design the template inside SquareSpace? Very similar to designing Google Site Templates

Will the calendar automatically update to current month after someone purchases the planner?

Hi Bree, I generated the link to sell my template on Etsy but when I tested it, some databases are not visible. Maybe because I copy+paste them from another template. I don't know what to do.
