Amazing. And all you need to create such a beautiful sounds is 2 saw osc, 2 ADSRs and couple of LFOs with a pinch of reverb. :)
I wouldn't have expected the Venom to excel particularly well at pianos. I still remember someone's words expecting none but typical synth sounds from a synth but things start to get exciting when atypical overtones evolve because that's another level & sounds impressive if programmed accordingly. Personally I even prefer a sophisticated synth piano over a real one because the sound is always shapeable. That's great and makes the Venom with it's "only" 3 OSCs even a competitor to 4 OP FM gear.
Since I'm not biased because the price tag I've expected sounds that are ok, but you have exceeded my expectations a 1000 times! The best ever heard from the venom.

I unboxed my Venom after like three or four years of not using it, waiting for the perfect time. Just did and after being amused by the hardcore yellow/orange gradient keys, ha-ha, I'm trying these patches and they sound so good. Gonna sound even better run through my Eventide H90. To my surprise, I also found in the download page three of my patches I made back in 2016 (they start with SFOG7) and I'm so happy that I still like them. I forgot I made them. Programming in Vyzex is weird but rewarding.

Did you sell it? I'm never parting with mine. First because it's unique, and second because I wouldn't get a lot for it, and I got it cheap already.
Its amazing how similar it sounds to the K5000 series. Sure, the K5000 is more sophisticated, having more envelopes, partials etc, but the character is very similar. I've hear the K5000 is 16 bit and the K5 is 8 bit, don't know if thats true, but yeah the K5000 is brighter, more HIFI.

please somebody HELP ME! How store all this presents on my m-audio venom? I use Vyzex Venom , but where is this F**KING KEY 'LOAD ON DEVICE" ?
absolute grandios! Certain proof that Venom is a legendary synth It's worth reminding folks that the scenes where a computer/laptop is visible does not mean the sounds you're hearing don't come solely from the Venom!

I have a beautiful K5000W, which I love, but I think this synth sounds as good, just different. I'll probably pick one up one day on eBay or whatever!
Sounds great! someone offered me a Venom, but It doesn't do piano... until I saw this video with nice convincing sounds.
@@ET2carbon ??. It's a nice alternative vs. having nothing, for an "analog" synth/rompler that had the worst official support, one should be grateful that someone takes the time to do this. My Venom is going away anyway, 49 keys is not enough for me if I ever planned to use it seriously, and harsh leads are not really my thing.
@Emi Piano never get rid of a synth. ROMpler or not, keep it. Not enough keys is a lame reason to get rid of it. Get an 88 key controller and use this as a module. I didn't say it was bad or that I don't appreciate the massive amount of work the patch creation takes. I was saying that you can get very very convincing sounds through plugins. The thing this Venom is for is screeching hard-core stuff. These are good patches for what they are seeking out to do. When you initially said you were looking for piano, you're better bet is something like KONTAKT for real PCM multilayered samples or even SWAM. This won't get you even to an EP sound. Maybe I shouldn't have even said anything...
@Emi Piano stand it vertically for more space hahaha. Or, do the desktop module conversion modification. Just cut the keys out completely and put the guts in a smaller box. Depending how big your 88 key is, you could even put the guts of this one into that one, seriously. The parts in this are small

How do I load these and other sounds to my Venom. I am without a PC so I have to bring my venom to the library to set this up until I get a PC.
These virtual analog sound pretty much all the same sounds just like my novation.
@2:36 there's a lot of unpleasant high pitched aliasing throughout this patch. Sorry, I should end my criticism on a good note. Impressive what you've done here, the patches sound amazing (bar the one I don't like ;) ). Hmm, I think it's the bit-crusher I don't like. I feel like it has very high frequency aliasing in a specific filter band. The rest of the patches are gold.
Oh yes, that was purposeful on the DX patch introduce a little bit crushing to give it a retro lo-fi digital sound. I used to own a Korg DS-8 and I actually enjoyed the swirling sound of the aliasing on its digi-pianos, but I totally get it that not everyone likes that sound. You should be able to turn off the bit crusher from the front panel. See if it’s a sound you prefer. -Thanks for the feedback!

This shows once again that there are virtually no "bad" synthesizers. It only depends on the people who program them.

How did you get a cool acoustic piano program? I have gotten a couple of decent electric pianos, but not a near convincing patch like this. Nice Solina-like patch too...nice sound scaping choices.
