    There is a debate between the Bible and the OSAS crowd. The Bible clearly teaches that you can abandon your faith. We are not talking about works salvation, you cannot lose your salvation as you would a set of car keys. However, you do not trade your free will for salvation. If you could, I would. But you cannot, because then your faith wouldn't really be faith, would it? You can abandon your faith and the Biible says that people will. The book of Revelation talks about a great falling away. False converts cannot fall away, this is talking about Christians. The apostle Paul himself states that he must run his race in such a way that even after preaching to others, he does not become disqualified. This is not about losing a reward, he specifically says disqualified. The bible does give you an avenue to return to the faith if backslidden, it says that your branch can be grafted back onto the tree. There is a documentary called "Once Saved, Always Saved?" that is available on CZcams that changed my mind. I was blindly believing a few choice verses from slick talking preachers and people saying "You cant lose a gift" and things like that, rather than hearing what the Bible actually says about it. I recommend that you pray, and go watch the entire video and then try and figure out how to disprove each of the verses. You will not be able. I was on the fence for a year about this, wondering what to teach any desicples that I make about this doctrine and after praying about it, that video came out and clarified it for me.

      Anyone who believes they are to do something to keep their salvation or don't do something to not lose it, IS ACTUALLY WORKING for their salvation. Common sense friend! You should be preaching what you believe! and that is working for your salvation, just be honest with yourself first, then go and deceive new babes in Christ.

  • @bikerboy9010

    I do believe people can't lose their salvation, but at the same time, I don't believe that accepting Christ in your heart means you're free to live your life any way you want and still go to heaven. The main reason why some Christians are against once saved always saved is because they think it teaches that once you accept Christ, you're free to live your life any way you want and still go to heaven, but once saved always saved doesn't teach that. Accepting Christ in your heart and meaning it in your heart is how you get saved. Accepting Christ in your heart by just mouthing the words and not meaning it in your heart doesn't save someone. Accepting Christ in your heart and meaning it in your heart means that you want to repent and turn away from being a slave to sin and you want Jesus in your heart to help you to live for him. When a person has an attitude of how since they accepted Christ in their heart that they're free to live their life any way they want and still go to heaven, that's a sure sign that they didn't mean it when they accepted Christ in their heart since when someone accepts Christ in their heart and means it in their heart, God changes them to where they aren't slaves to sin anymore, and when someone isn't a slave to sin anymore, they're not going to think that way, they're not going to want to take advantage of grace and forgiveness in regards to how they live their life, etc. When someone accepts Christ in their heart and means it in their heart, they experience positive changes in their life due to God changing them such as not being a slave to sin anymore (Christians still sin, still have sin weaknesses, still have sin struggles, still make mistakes in life, still aren't perfect, etc, but they aren't slaves to sin anymore), wanting to live for the Lord, wanting to serve the Lord, being born again, having a changed heart, being a new creation, sanctification in regards to how they live their life, not wanting to take advantage of grace and forgiveness in regards to how you live your life, etc. When someone becomes saved, they experience these positive changes in their life.

      Accepting Christ in your heart never helped anyone friend, saying a prayer doesn't save you, heck not even your faith saved you or your belief. IT IS IN WHAT you believe that saves you! it wasn't our will for that matter. Learn what is born again friend, before you start trying to teach others on your false belief of denying the eternal security we have in Christ!

    • @bikerboy9010
      @bikerboy9010 Před 2 měsíci

      @@brohuggie2978 Thanks for your response and feedback. I do agree with you how being born again is what saves people. I believe in eternal security. I believe in once saved always saved. I don't believe that repeating a prayer saves someone. I don't believe that accepting Christ in your heart by just mouthing the words and not meaning it in your heart saves someone. A lot of pastors talk about how accepting Christ is how you get saved, but they don't talk about what accepting Christ in your heart really means, which causes many people to be deceived into thinking that if they repeat a prayer they hear, accept Christ in their heart by just mouthing the words and not meaning it in their heart, etc that they're saved. Accepting Christ in your heart and meaning it in your heart means you want to repent and turn away from being a slave to sin and that you want Jesus in your heart to help you to live for the Lord. A person is saved by accepting Christ in their heart and meaning it in their heart, repenting and turning away from being a slave to sin, surrendering their life to Christ, putting their trust in Christ, etc. When a person becomes saved, they're always going to be saved, they're never going to become an ex-Christian, they'll persevere in the faith until the end, they'll endure until the end, and they won't be a slave to sin anymore (they'll still sin at times, they'll sin have sin weaknesses, they'll still have sin struggles, they'll still make mistakes in life, they won't be perfect, etc but they won't be slaves to sin anymore since when someone becomes saved, God changes them to where they aren't slaves to sin anymore.).

    If you think you can lose your salvation then you're automatically implying Jesus is a liar. Salvation is a one time event. Sanctification and perseverance is for a life time. Believe in Jesus alone for salvation, not your works. If you're saved, you're saved eternally, you're secure. Then you should do good works but it's up to you what you do. God will chastise you if you if needed to get you back on the right path, He loves you.

      NOPE! we will always sin, read Rom 7. Paul made it clear when talking about the Law in our members who war against the law in our minds. Rom 7:5 For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death. Rom 7:6 But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter. Rom 7:22 For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: Rom 7:23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. Rom 7:24 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? Rom 7:25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin. Just like the law of gravity what goes up will definitely come down, the law in our members will sin as long as we live in this flesh. this is why we needed to be put to death on the cross with Christ through baptism of the Spirit not water. we had to die to the law so we could be married to Christ, otherwise we would be adulterers. So many that are saved go back to the law to do commandments believing that it will help them, in reality, they are adulterers.

    Clicking on this video I was scared that you would present prelest. You are right in saying that our salvation is a continual process. Our salvation is threefold: Christ already saved us by his death and resurraction resurrecting all of humanity, Christ is continually in the process of saving us by guiding the humble down the path back into communion with Him, and is going to save us on the day of resurrection. All depends on what we mean by "save us." I will be praying for you for as long as I will remember you. I pray God grants you a heart of humility and obedience so that you may be led back into communion with Him, and that you may have your heart and mind illumined to the Love and Truth of His Word, the only-begotten Son of God. Read the parable of the prodigal son. The father is God, the young son is the sinner who repents, his elder brother is the righteous one who relies on his works. At the end - the younger son is at the feast, the elder one is not. This applies to everyone who believes that he or she has to add own works to Christ sacrifice. You don't have to be scared, if the Christ sacrifice is not enough you are condemned anyway and everyone else with you, why fear then? Just do you best and let the Lord take care of the rest.

    So no offense to this young lady but she claims that the Lord gave her this revelation, yet did not provide an answer. But thank God that He left the answer in the word. “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever shall Believe in Him shall NOT PERISH(Eternally Die) but Have(Currently UPON Belief) EVERLASTING LIFE. Once you are saved you are always saved, Jesus is the one who is Faithful to Us, even when we aren’t back. He is the one who lived the life we should’ve lived and died the death we should’ve died. It is by Belief in Him how we have eternal fellowship, not by working to show man your “Righteousness”.

      Believe in John 3:16 is greek present tense: whoever continues to believe, goes on believing. It wouldn't apply to anyone who once believed at one point in the past but no longer does.

    God told you to tell everybody not to ask if you can be cut off and go to Hell?.. sounds more like a demon told you that.. Luke 12:45-46 NIV But suppose the servant says to himself, 'My master is taking a long time in coming,' and he then begins to beat the other servants, both men and women, and to eat and drink and get drunk. [46] The master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he is not aware of. He will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the unbelievers. 1 Corinthians 14:34-35 NIV Women should remain silent in the churches. They are not allowed to speak, but must be in submission, as the law says. [35] If they want to inquire about something, they should ask their own husbands at home; for it is disgraceful for a woman to speak in the church.

    Salvation is a one time event given to us as a free gift accessed by a moment of faith, so many false teachers mix the Christian walk with the moment of salvation together and it's extremely destructive. People preaching the true gospel on the internet seems to be a minority and the majority with their works salvation gospel are destroying people's faith all over. John MacArthur had me fearing every day with the calvinism he teaches and I'm extremely thankful God led me out of that and restored my confidence in the blood of Christ!

      It's not just a one time event. Hebrews 9:28 says "Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him."

      @@richardnewell8478yes it is a one time event. Salvation from hell is a one time event. Maybe not other salvations, but salvation from hell? Yeaaahh you best leave that to the savior alone. Think about it, if you have to take any part in your salvation, you won’t fulfill it and so you won’t be saved. Yet Jesus Christ says so many times in the gospel of John that whosoever believes on him will be saved. Therefore HE is the savior, and we don’t need to do any works for salvation. Roman’s 4:5 puts it best. “But to him that worketh not but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness”

    There is no possible way to lose salvation Salvation is a free gift from God no strings attached and all we have to do to be saved is believe that Jesus Christ our loving messiah died on the cross for our sins and that the payment of his sacrifice is sufficient to wash us, which makes us children of God. Anyone who believes in repent or else you will go to hell just scare people away from coming to the real truth the real gospel of who Jesus Christ is and what he did and how loving, gracious and merciful our father is. Jesus Christ and our father love every human being more than anyone can comprehend and all God wants us to do is trust that Jesus' payment is suffice for ours sins and we are saved forever... God bless ❤❤❤

    Christ said in Matthew 7:22-23 “Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ 23 Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’ He said he NEVER knew them. Not He knew them once but then forgot them because they sinned once or twice, or on a random Tuesday. HE NEVER KNEW THEM. Those people in that passage were testifying of all their works. Not once did any of them say “Lord I placed my faith in you alone; that you died, was buried and rose again, and that’s what saved me” They all talked about their good works. Your works don’t save you. It’s belief alone in Christ’s death burial and resurrection that saves you. Belief in Him ALONE is what saves you, then you do good works BECAUSE you are saved, but not to be saved. Once you are saved, the Holy Spirit begins a work in you. Then no one can take you out of His hands. Not even you. John 10:28 I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand." He said NEVER parish. Not they might if they continue to sin or walk away. Guess what. We still sin constantly even when we think we don’t. Thank God our salvation DOESN’T reply on our own efforts to get or keep us saved. Romans 3:23-24 “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus." Romans 4:7-8 “Blessed are those whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered. Blessed is the one whose sin the Lord will never count against them." Romans 8:1 (NIV): “Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus." 2 Corinthians 5:21 "God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God." If we did nothing to earn it then why would we now have to strive to keep it? It’s a free gift. Ephesians 2:8-9 “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-not by works, so that no one can boast." Romans 11:6 “And if by grace, then it cannot be based on works; if it were, grace would no longer be grace." Titus 3:5 “He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy." Romans 4:4-5 “Now to the one who works, wages are not credited as a gift but as an obligation. However, to the one who does not work but trusts God who justifies the ungodly, their faith is credited as righteousness." John 10:27-29 "My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand." Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." He said ETERNAL life and that his sheep will NEVER parish. The word eternal means existing or lasting without end. Forever. As for those who walk away, they never truly believed in the first place. They never had genuine faith and were never truly saved from the start. 1 John 2:19 "They went out from us, but they did not really belong to us. For if they had belonged to us, they would have remained with us; but their going showed that none of them belonged to us." Where our works are concerned: John 14:15-16 “If you love me, keep my commands. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever- the Spirit of truth." This verse is about discipleship and the importance of living in accordance with Jesus' commands as an expression of love, rather than a means to earn salvation. It’s also important to be a good example and a good witness to the kingdom of God. Many people are put off by our faith and by God because we are a poor representation when we live in overt open and reckless sin. But that has nothing to do with our salvation. On the day of judgement, our works will determine the type or rewards we will receive in Heaven but has nothing to do with our salvation because we were already bought at a price and His blood seals us till the day of redemption once we place our faith in that for our salvation alone. As Christians bought by the precious blood of Christ, we SHOULD be doing good now that we are saved, but it’s not TO be saved. The Lord says the Spirit of God will be with you FOREVER. Not every now and then for each time you mess up. FOREVER. In conclusion, salvation is a free and eternal gift from God, received through faith in Jesus Christ. Our works cannot earn or maintain it, and God's grace ensures our eternal security. Those who genuinely believe in Christ have the promise of eternal life and are forever secure in His hands.
