I sailed with last year, and honestly, I don't think it's worth the hype. My fiancé and I enjoyed the food, entertainment, nightlife etc, but I honestly thought Princess and Celebrity had equally good food. I feel like the price is inflated simply for being kid free. Not a bad line by any means, but not worth the price hike

As a Houstonian who has been blessed enough to have eaten food from 3 out of 5 of these (LA, New Orleans, and of course Houston) I can say that southeast Texas is such a wonderful region to experience food wise because you’re right in the center of what people largely consider to be “southern/soul” food, you got the Waffle House opened at 3am with hard working lady’s ready to cook up some hash browns, you got bone stripping good BBQ with some cornbread and oven baked Mac’n cheese, you have some of the juiciest most well seasoned seafood boils fixed to serve 20 people at least, I mean it is all things “southern” there, and you’re close enough to Louisiana to have pretty easy access to the more popular Cajun restaurants (fezos, bb’s, etc) plus the closest Chimes is just across the Texas border in Lafayette, Louisiana
