Save your money guys. They cheaped out by removing all the important aluminum bits that come standard on the "real" TLR 8ight-XTE kit car. Already seen these break on the track after a couple of doubles.
I understand where your coming from but everyone don't like to build rc cars and that kit will be around $1200 dollars after your done with it

I just bought the buggy rtr swapped out esc and motor put in castle 2200kv motor and mamba monster x speed control it's a beast oh check all thr screws make sure they have thread lock on them

Dam gap you going make me grab one too , I have the 8ight T 4.0 70% built reason I never finished is not sure if I wanted to convert to electric ⚡️, I picked up the rtr guy and haven’t run it either . My yard I made into a track but hard to keep from just being “ bash spot” I built tlr typhon to match 8ight buggy and compare , no comparison typhon became my favorite but no comparison to true 🏎️ race car and like you eluding not worth bashing these they’ll take it and i can impress people more probably but going destroy it fast ps same thoughts on pit mats I get my moneys worth but my hobby in dinning room so got nice hobby bench instead usual HF guy . The Matt came with Rig or your LHS ?

Nice work on groms , I’ve been doing similar stuff with those LED strips , those leds from Temu are cheap and insanely bright , they’re flat and hide them well . I painted old tmaxx body red left the bed rear window clear my led strips blue sometimes use opposite colors I think “ because blue leds will glow orange red body’s I’m going try using same colors after watching yours
Ps I meant also check out those L.ED from Temu , for projects “ they only run around 12v though because intended for automobiles interiors .
