A local fisherman approached us and told us that they had hauled a mast from a sail ship to the surface. We had to check out what this was. This short film received a 3rd. place in the Norwegian Underwater Film Championships in 2023. Norwegian narration. English subtitles.

Harstad Sportsdykkerklubb (HSDK) blir med i Tarevoktere. Organisasjonen har som målsetting å gjenopprette tareskoger ved å fjerne kråkeboller under god vitenskapelig overvåking. HSDK har valgt ut et område utenfor Stangnes båtforening som skal røktes jevnlig for kråkeboller. Vil tareskogen komme tilbake til våren?

The fishing vessel "MK Nordsjø" sank in a storm on September 28th 2014 at a place called Aun outside the city of Harstad in Northern Norway. We visited the wreck only a few days after she sank. Now we return after 8,5 year to document the rapid deterioration of wooden ship in saltwater. Norwegian voice over and english subtitles.
