Legendary performance but there used to be a comment on this video from years ago that stated they won the grammy for most cocaine consumed at one gig. Sadly the original comment has been buried or deleted.

Pretty good, never heard that version before, and performed in Fillmore East, that classic rock n, roll venue. Great.

My band in 67 was inspired by the Byrds, we named our band The Avees. A play on the Latin word for birds. I played bass. It was an awesome time to grow up.

"The Notorious Byrd Brothers" is one such album. I was fortunate to see The Byrds perform live twice, featuring Chris Hillman on guitar, following Clarence White's tragic passing in a car accident.

one of my better weeeks on my feet and not needing what Woodstock lacked toilet, some reduials I was warn about. so every other week or so what Bill was good at get dates open foe fan favorite and new faces going places..that what it came to mean to me, over a year learn so much and got good care in bunches, droves, bushels,and lots of lays..i need what was given, turn down determine if everything cooperated for a short while was dicky that nurse from Bellevue did follow-up two weeks later, on another line the fillmore, share greetings and help was on the way to another kid..that what made me proud to be NYC born, taught, showed..excellent

These Guys WERE SOOOOOOOooooo in THEIR "Groove" and SOOOOOOoooo WAAAAAAY Ahead of their time and to think it WAS OVER 54 YEARS Ago !! WOW !!! PS I am NOT sure if the Classic "Precision" of Skip's Bass and Gene's Percussion (in this song) was EVER repeated - THOUGHTS ????

Contrary to most comments I was not even born when this was first published but not matter years after and ocean distance this music really thrills me. Probably due to the constant change of personnel they havent got the credit they owe, specially McGuinn he was there with all the incredible talents along the years. A clear fav LA band!
