Dave NET ZERO Thomas ….Another way of wasting money?
This CLOWNcill 'are out of touch'.
When I was a kid we would stay at the Pembroke hotel , used to walk down to meadfoot beach or Daddyhole plain , occasionally we take boat tour from Paignton to either Brixham or further on the River Dart cruise on a boat called the Boy David it was owned by Mr Bewley. I'm 61 now might pop back and see a few old haunts !!
Nice
Interesting..so why do bettesworth and Paul bettesworth in particular think the boathouse on Preston seafront is worth 1 million pounds?
The Paignton and Preston sea defence scheme has now been put forward, but yes, I agree that the Boathouse is not worth a million pounds.
No more houses won't be a green field left in torbay in the end
I'm looking at renting a bungalow for a week not far from the seafront, is there plenty to do in the area
WHAT A POOR TURNOUT.
Good to see nothing has changed, actually that’s not true, it’s now worse.
This didnt age well...
Too much building not enough trees and farmland
Congratulations Torbay

knowing what happened in 2018, i dont think a wall is enough for my town.
This was the jewel of the SW and has turned in to a haven for major city drug addicts shipped off to B&B’s in Torquay. Absolute shambles.
Looking at a video of the storm surge in 2014 at Paignton and the photographs in the link above, I'd say you've got a problem that needs something done now. czcams.com/video/i-CWlYK9rj4/video.html
They should put some ppl with great binoculair and try to track those ho left rubich there and give them 1000 pound fine like this every one kip his place clean once he left.
So beautiful 🏖. yet 3 Miles away the grass is 4 foot high Torbay council want me to send pictures into you because calling doesn't work either
Weird to think this will happen to my home town one day
Beautiful so lucky to live on edge of it x
It made me cry, with sadness. Compare these pictures with those taken in the 1960's and you'll see what I mean. Particularly Rock Walk which has been butchered. Turning the three towns into one entity was perhaps not such a good idea, each has now reached it's lowest common denominator, and all of it's class.
I so love it on the green so peaceful away from the crouds you can just chill out with a cuppa from those little cafes dotted around
Es ist sehr schön dort - wir haben unseren Urlaub genossen. Gruß aus Germany.
Fantastic, the sort of place where dreams are made, thank you Torbay Council for making this film and highlighting this place.
Well worth a visit at any time of the year.
Nice video and amazing place
Back in the mid 1950's my grandparents used to take me on holiday to Babbacombe. Such a lovely place. Fond memories of the speedboat named "Apollo" that gave rides from the beach. I still love this place, spent my honeymoon here in 1968 and visited regularly with my own children. I want my ashes scattered over the cliff tops from the downs.
Okay, how many covid patients in Torbay Hospital? What are the ingredients of the vaccine? Is it tested and proven and if so, why did 30 people die from the injection in Denmark, recently? Try thinking 'outside of the box' for a change and stop giving corrupted figures, please.
Beautiful accompanying music too wonderful video .
Beautifully filmed .
From the Torbay Herald Anybody who knows Brixham knows the town has an affinity with three things - pubs, fishing and rugby. So it may be no surprise that the one reason the town is Devon's worst hotspot for Covid-19 can be traced back to packed local pubs where fans cheered Exeter Chiefs' Premiership title win on October 24, at the start of half-term. Unable to watch the Chiefs v Wasps in person, fans flocked into town and let their guard down as the excitement built. It was one of Devon's brightest moments in a dark year, giving the local lads a historic double victory and even though people were not supposed to be shouting and cheering indoors - there was no stopping them in Brixham. One of the town's most popular old boozers, The Burton, has confirmed that they closed the day after the final for a full deep clean after hearing that one of their customers later found they had tested positive. A spokesman for the pub said: "Everybody was socially distanced and separate tables - but they did cheer. People were not crammed in. "We were busy that day and we later found out that one girl had got it, and her husband got it off her. We also heard that somebody who worked as a nurse who got it had been in. "We also have customers who work at The Quay where a lot of the night shift have got it and on local trawlers There's nobody can say where it spread from. That's a difficult one. But it's not true that it started here. "We have done everything we needed to do. We closed for a deep clean - carpets, curtains, everything was cleaned with antibac at 90 degrees and reopened on the Tuesday. "Then we found out somebody else had been in here with it and as soon as we realised that we decided enough was enough and closed the doors."
Too many tourists I still believe also people all mixing not following guidance.... I cannot believe after the amount of tourists from hot spot areas have brought it here it wasn't like this until the end of summer breaks.... So where did it start.... I agree all need to follow guidelines but totally disagree its all magically come here no tourism involved.... I understand its dire for those who make there living this way..... But think all opened up too soon an that is why we are all back in lockdown....also most are being careful its those few who are not that are exacerbating it....... I no from helping a friend clean their company was still trying to send people from hotspots

Shame how can you say to it's Brixham people when the first wave it was near zero Then after all the holiday visitors came to Brixham, we find that we are one of the worst-hit areas in Torbay by the virus!
From the British Medical Journal... Ill leave this here for you to read over... 'Covid-19: politicisation, “corruption,” and suppression of science' - www.bmj.com/content/371/bmj.m4425 Direct quote..."The UK’s pandemic response relies too heavily on scientists and other government appointees with worrying competing interests, including shareholdings in companies that manufacture covid-19 diagnostic tests, treatments, and vaccines. Government appointees are able to ignore or cherry pick science-another form of misuse"
Hippocrates must be turning in is his grave! As far as the PCR test is concerned a lot depends on the magnification rate of the PCR test as even according to a recent article from the BBC, a Virus from a previous flu from years past can still be amplified to show positive on the worthless PCR test... Can I ask why not ONE single Dr is coming forward promoting basics such as Vitamin C and VitaminD and anything else to help boost the immune system?...this whole thing is a scam, a re-branding of the Flu Virus, and shame on anyone who promotes the globalist 'Great Reset' agenda!
Why doesn't she talk about Brixham hospital being Covid ward. Pubs are closed, town is empty. They decided to keep schools open
Not spread by tourism? Funny how before half-term we had virtually no cases and two weeks after it's rife. Has this woman even been to a bar or restaurant before the second lockdown. No effort at social distancing and using "loopholes" to pack them in. Pure greed.
But no deaths... ?? Everyone is mostly in their houses. We cannot go to the pub or do any sporting events. Absolute Rubbish
Silly scare mongering t**TS there's a big difference between deaths infections and cases just stop it!!!! and people need to stop getting the tests that is what this is about with up to a 93 % false positive rate it's flu season deaths and flu like symptoms are normal it's just not normally reported or tested like it is now wake up😴😴
More scaremongering.
You should be ashamed of yourself causing fear to innocent vulnerable people who are starving, living in the woods locally , losing their jobs, committing suicide....no one is going out, speaking or interacting and you're saying its spreading more now than in the peak!!!!!! The pcr are tests are inaccurate.....where has the flu gone?
According to the BMJ flu figures have always been grossly exaggerated. When “Excess deaths” are reported every year they are not excess deaths. This year’s flue figures are probably correct. www.bmj.com/content/361/bmj.k2795/rr-6?fbclid=IwAR3hIh3qFYX3CkRtWmffQdXQK0j4WtwFX2gTIGA0dgIycG-TuZwKNjtEkog

Thank you to all at the hub over this last few months. It was nice to know there was someone there to go to and I hope those in need were assisted with the help they required. Lets hope next time, the community share the burden of the few and the work can be delegated in a more localised way, through more volunteers.
