Each Bass here is so unique and different, both with advantages and disadvantages. My favorite is the Rickenbacker. It's weightier like a Bass "should" feel. Good heavier Bass sound. Except the horseshoe plate took a while getting used to. The Höfner, on the other hand (no pun intended) is great for the opposite reasons! It's smaller and lightweight, like a toy, making it fun to play. Although the Bass sound is not as heavy, it still has a good bass-y enough sound to make the grade. One negative is I don't feel it lasts as long, unless you have the mega-money to have it regularly doctored, as Sir Paul does for his original. All the same, they're both iconic models. Good Basses. 😊😊.

No significant difference. Either one sounds good. You wouldn't even know they were different unless you are A/B-ing them (like this comparison). Great video BTW.

I bought this bass when I saw it at the local used gear shop. Cost me less than the pedal I was originally considering, and it's surprisingly awesome.

Nicely done and I love the backing track too. It's got a bounce to it.

Would any of you have any opinion on the MB58R 102 Pure combo vs separate MB58R head and 102 Pure Cab? Considering either option for jamming or small bar gigs.

Terve! Löysin kyseisen FS-mallin käytettynä noin vuosi sitten ja on täydellinen stratocaster omaan mieleen. Todella monipuolinen. Mikit toki vaihtunut Pearly Gates tallaan ja Fender 57/62 keskelle ja kaulaan. Taipuu musiikkiin kun musiikkiin. Näitähän ei montaa edes tehty markkinoille. Toista ei ole tullut vastaan vielä.. Someone gave me an old one of these a few years ago. Did some tests with it on snare and guitar against newer SM57 and the older Unidyne III, and I much preferred the 545 over either of the other two. Sounded more hifi and detailed, and on snare there was a bit more body. My 545 has been my go to snare mic ever since.
