Thank you Maxant! The instructions I got with my motor kit did not explain the importance of the ball bearing below the basket, where to lubricate, how much space is accessible around the rubber spider, and how to operate the motor.
How much for motorized conversion kit
Hi, nice video. I'm considering purchasing the Maxant Junior Spinner. I harvest honey from log hives in the forest, and it arrives at my processing facility as crushed comb. I plan to melt it with a melter capable of handling 500 kilograms in one batch at 49 degrees Celsius. After melting at this temperature, I would obtain 325 kilograms of separated honey and a 175-kilogram honey-wax mixture. I aim to use the Maxant Junior Spinner to separate the honey from the wax. If I proceed, how much time will it take to separate the melted honey-wax mixture of 175 kilograms?

bro How many maximum temperature honey production pleas
I just ran into one of your reps at the PA State Beekeepers Association Meeting. I was completely impressed by the quality of your equipment and the weldments were seriously impressive. Great to see a great lineup of excellent and well-designed honey processing gear. Thanks!
You should do an update with a thorough demonstration. Lets here it run!
I found this way more than helpful. Thank you so much. I need 6 more of these tanks. I’ll be ordering right away.
Fantastic Pump!
Is there a threaded hole and plug at the bottom of the tank? Also, does the unit come with a device that goes in the bottom to support a 5 gallon bucket?
Yes, and yes.
So, the immersion heater is exposed in the bottom of the tank?.....not separated from the main tank in its own water cavity?
don't use the word "filter". You mean to say strainer
What is the type or name of the new motor and can we make a change with out current product?
Looks like an amazing change. Thanks
Thanks
WHAT IS THE RPM OF THE SENIOR SPINNER
Thanks for sharing this helpful assembly video. I'm assembling my new tank. I noticed some white teflon tape still showing on the thread of the no drip valve and you mentioned it's straight & set. Does this mean the entire thread doesn't need to be all the way in? Just tight and straight? How many lines on the thread of the no drip valve is sticking out when fully tightened? Hope I'm making sense :) I just want to make sure that I'm not attempting to overtighten and unnecessarily screw the no drip valve in so deep. Happy to call the office in case I'm not clear. Thanks again. I can tell this tank is well built. Looking forward to using it.
Great but how does it work?
All the electric extractors I see spin at 1300 rpm. This SEEMS excessive! Are there extractors that adjust the speed?
Great video, thanks!
The last comment is on the wrong video
Why is it important to wait for the water to boil before adding the wax?
How hot will this tank heat the product inside? Can I also use for maple syrup at 185F? Thanks.
Where to find Instructions to clean & lubricate properly my blue motor? I know to use food-grade grease. Are there grease points or is (some) disassembly needed? In the spirit of Preventive Maintenance. Thanks Kindly.
Great video
Great video Hi Teddy
Great video thanks
Nice
I had to wait a couple extra weeks but I just got my tank and it’s a work of art! Very happy
Only wax cappings what about wax from bee removals?
Do you have a automated line. Don’t have to touch the frame after the uncapper?
After hand cranking my 3100 series for 4.5 seasons, I purchased a MAXANT motor from Beemaid in Edmonton, AB, late last summer ( 2020). Oh my, this unit really shines with a motor and has made the harvest so much more enjoyable and efficient at extracting honey from the frame. One very smart feature about the new black motor ( i did not own the older blue model) is that it has a small 2 Amp fuse that will blow if the honey gate is left closed by mistake and the honey is to deep for the basket to turn. Fuses are very cheap to purchase and prevents damaging the motor. I now understand why MAXANT recommends you keep the honey gate open while extracting! Thank you Maxant and Beemaid for filling this order during the pandemic, it could not have been easy for companies to meet their customers demands during these trying times. A+
How long should it take to heat up? Mine is taking forever! Like 4 hours and it's still only at 100 degrees.
are you still having issues with your tank? was it resolved?
@@Adam.Holmes. well we actually had ours plugged into a 15 amp outlet instead of a 20, so i think that was our issue. Also a wire had burned up inside the control switch box for the heating element. So maxant sent me a new element, we replaced the outlet with a 20 amp one, and that seemed to have solved our issues. Now it gets hot quick.
Is that a real company??? you guys dont answer phones!!! no answer on emails!!
Good stuff! Thanks and best of luck to you.
Why not use an acrylic tube in lieu of the glass?
Do you put a mixing wheel on tank, to stir honey that is granulated? Stir slowly or intermittently?
will not push honey even 1 foot above barrel. waste of money
If you’re heating the wax mixture up to a boil... isn’t that bad for the wax? Anything I’ve read says you don’t want to heat the wax above 185F? Or since it’s not 100% wax it’s ok?
I've boiled my capping for yrs and never noticed anything detrimental
Yes Thank you
Very nice
Sir I am small bee keeper in Nepal where I get maxent honey processing machine plz give me details and help me
I just watched this video before assembling the tank I recently ordered. The instructions were very clear and helpful.
I just ordered one. What is the desired temperature for bottling my honey?
looks like a nice setup. Would love to outfit my honey room with more Maxant.
What is the wing nut on bottom sight glass valve for?
To drain the water in the sight glass.
Looks alot easier then my Pot and outdoor burner lol
How do you clean that big boy?
Hot water, and a wipe down with a rag/towel. Cleans up nicely
At what temperature Celcius are you bottling the honey?
110 F or 43 C
@@MaxantHoney too hot. Enzymes cook at 40*C / 104*F
@@larkfeast I've even heard enzymes start to die off at 37°C / 99°F.
@@ximono not that low.
Rather than using the hand-held decapping planner, do you have a hot knife with a guide that sits over the basket? Such that the frames can be placed on the guide and just slid over the knife?
we do not currently
