I am from Germany and I follow Nascar since the 90"s. I always wanted to see one race in person and in Feburary I flew to Atlanta and watched the races at the Atlanta Motor Speedway. It was amazing and because of that I just bought tickets for Atlanta (Sepetmber), Talladega, the Charlotte Roval and Martinsville in early November. In between the races I will travel thru the mountains and play Golf every day. I cannot wait to come back.

man what a cool experience. I went to dover back in 2018 when I was 12-13. such a cool track! I remember riding that monster truck ride in the fan zone! Ive been going to New Hampshire motor speedway every year since 2016. There aint any better live sports experience than a NASCAR race in my opinion. Little man is gonna love the memories of going to the track with his old man!

Sorry to be "that guy", but every single person who intentionally got close to that whale was commiting a federal offense and could have been in deep doo-doo!! The owner of the Sea Rocket knew better than to get close to that whale. He did the right thing by leaving even though it was a cool as hell thing to be right on top of a whale. Now, as a point of interest... If you look at the water where that whale is having it's time spent in one place, there was a reason for that, you can actually see the huge school of anchovies that it was working!! That was a baleen feeder meaning it was the kind of whale that eats the smallest of sea creatures instead of like toothed whales that eat bigger fish as well as seals, other dolphins, even whales!! This one was relatively harmless to people other than an accident that CAN happen as those things are so big that an accidental bump could actually be a deadly incident!! But i lived in Ocean City my whole life and as i got older I stopped going in the ocean altogether. My reasoning was simple and true, that there are no barriers preventing anything that lives out there from coming in close to the buffet (a small bit of no taste humor there). Think about it... All of the sounds that attract some of the most vicious killers of seals and other large prey items, I had actually SEEN very large sharks literally swimming in and around the beach bathers, as they like to be called. Bait is a simpler term!! I also flew the banner planes for a time and I could look right down and see some incredibly large sharks swimming right around the people swimming with them, unknowingly, of course. Had they known, you would have seen the most mad dash to get out of the water that you could ever imagine!!! And don't think you are any safer in the bay side in the bay as they are there as well!!! See it this way, there are all the sounds and vibrations that attract these kind of killers, there is food in the water available at their convenience, there are so many manor of food items put in the water, either by accident or on purpose such as burgers and French fries (yes, sharks love French fries!!), pizza, dog food, just a huge assortment of "people food" , that it's a miracle an attack hadn't already happened!! There are literally people baiting everywhere trying to catch flounder, sea bass, trout, blue fish, and the ever popular rock fish!! Just think of all of the temptation that is put in the water!! I have always felt that if there was ever going to be a first shark attack in Ocean City, if I stayed in that water, it would be ME!! So I removed the opportunity!! Forever thereafter, I was even cautious getting into a swimming pool!!! True statement!! So Y'ALL, words to the wise to be taken seriously!! Just because it hasn't happened yet, doesn't mean it never will happen!! Edit: to fix typos..
