Thanks a million for sharing..enjoyed every bit of it..❗👌🏻👍🏻 From "Out of Africa" ❗ 🇿🇦
@bernardhill1622 thanks, just trying to help anyone I can.
When you mix the bees wax and mineral oil, do you heat it up? What do you use, like a pot? Where do you get your tins?
@HarrisCustomCreations I put the beeswax and mineral oil in my tin, melt it in the oven on the lowest setting on a cookie sheet. Take it out, stir and let cool.
Thanks so much for sharing your process with us
@wadejensen3301 thank you for watching.
Looking gooooooooooooooood 🙂 the varibles and outcome in making damascus are the most charming aspects and also the BIG PAINS IN THE youknow what! :-) Have a good weekend and take care.
@johnjohnson643 Yes, but worth it
Astounding work sir! I'm myself working on my first knife right now and it's a bread knife too. I'm waiting for the epoxy to cure and will be grinding the serrations pretty soon. I've seen Gentry Custom Knives do a serrations tutorial and he makes a good point in doing them pretty much at the end (after hand sanding at least). Your own bread knife has given me ideas for another one: 1095, coffee etch, then serrations as highlights. I think that could look good!
@@forgedbywill I'm always trying to push my limits to learn and get better. All I can say is be willing to fail to learn how to succeed.
@@Tonycrow68 That's very true.
Nice work
@@dsheawilson1945 thank you
Thanks for sharing your experience...
Good info! I used to use a piece of wood for a hand sanding rest. I recently welded together two 1 1/4” , 12” lengths of angle iron and cut it so it is pointed on one end. I glued a thin piece of rubber mat on top.
Keep your videos coming. Really like to see what else you will make... Super job on the pizza cutter...
That sure is a cool piece for a great guy...
Really liking what you’re doing great job
I am humbled. You are a master, and now a goal I can try to emulate.
Definitely not a master, l am just willing to try. Sometimes I succeed and sometimes I learn what doesn't work for me.
That's a beautiful knife sir.
Really enjoyed your video. You may want to change the camera into landscape mode. It will make it easier for viewing
Real nice pattern and...blade geometry is spot on to my eye.
Thanks
That’s gorgeous! Good chatoyance in the damascus!
