Wardrobe/Closet Renovation. DIY project
Everyone from the Balkans or Ex Yugoslavian area know about these bad boys. I was tired of looking at the same closet that was in the family for a long time. It is outdated and ugly.
Didn't want to throw it away because the quality of it is not bad at all, so i decided to renovate it a little.
Doors are made out of beech hardwood with metal handles. I used the 2 panels, 2cm thickness for each door.
Updated the liquor space with some wine holders, tinted glass and led lights.
Tv is mounted to hide that big open hole. Good space to keep the cables organized and hidden behind it.
How do you like it?

Great box. May I ask what you used for finish / stain?
Why not use actual joinery techniques? You wouldn't have end-grain on the bottom sides of the box and random finger joints everywhere from a pre-fabbed panel.
I wanted to drill holes instead of joinery. I think it looks better/cleaner when it's all from one piece. Its unique for sure

Thank you! They are handmade. I'm making them, wanted something unique for my boxes. Try with some leather craft store, they should be able to do something similar.

Go easy on the camera movement please. As for the build: well done 👍🏼... but if you ever break the glass, you’re going to have a problem.
I will go easy next time :) Thank you, you are right about the glass, but its 6mm thick, its not easy to break unless you drop it hard. Usually this box will, 99% of the time, be placed in one spot and not moved around, but true, if it breaks, the whole top part would have to be replaced.
