I have a blue green sapphire. Interesting you say it is "new" on the market. We did buy it just last year. It is shallow so not so many facets on the bottom,, but I LOVE it like that. More mysterious and the size is larger, that is, I got 2.5ct for the price of 1/2 carat because of the shallow nature.
