    Flew to 40D on my first XC w/ instructor last year. I think I'm going to head up there in the next couple of weeks. There's food on field? I need to go there again now that I've got my ticket.

    Ah yes I can remember when I did my cross country solo like it was yesterday. I gotta tell ya though, there was no nice glass cockpit for me lol. It was all old fashion steam gages and paper charts, definitely no GTN 750 lol. I also did my cross country solo in a 172 and no it also did not have a leather wrapped yoke lol. Cheers bud and congradulations! Edit: Also I noticed you just did touch and goes. When I did my cross country solo I had to do full stops then get out and take my log book inside and have it stamped showing that I did land and depart from that airport.
