If I used bobber and eggs, high tide starts getting low is the best. If I used sinker and eggs only, nearly low tide is the best, that what I think.

Going tomorrow morning but I think there will only be about a two hour window as high tide will be at 9:30. I do not think the afternoon low tide at 5.5ft will be low enough to stand in the water...

I will not go on this Sunday. All by buddies will be there at 10AM at the parking and they can fish until 4PM. The tide is really affected at the mouth of the river, but our fishing area is 2 hours different than tide chart. Low tide at 5.5 ft that is meaning at the mouth, but our area may be low tide at 3.5ft that what I think because we are fishing at the higher land. If you plan to fish on Monday, you should be there at 4AM to reach the tide.

@@minhobbies3916 I went up early on Sunday. I went up by the Field Rd. I was in the water at 5:40am for first legal cast one hour before official sunrise. I was surprised that many people were already in the water. Someone told me that people will get there before fishing hours to get a spot and wait. I hooked into a huge king at about 6:30am drifting eggs. I ended up loosing it as it snapped my 30lb test braid! My braid could have had a weak spot but I did not expect that. Was crazy! High tide was at about 9:30. Around 7:00am people started walking behind me in my fishing hole as it was getting too deep down below where they had walked to. But would agree there are some places that are fishable at high tide if the fish are there. But need to pay attention to the tide because some places get deep and you have to stand in the water.

We park at the corner of Farm to Market Road and Field Road. If you come in at around 8am, nobody there, when you arrived late, good luck with parking spot. I am talking about this week, but next week will be different schedule depending on tide.

@billysmith2243 I wouldn't eat those zombies. Once they come in to spawn they taste horrible. I only eat the ones I catch far out on a boat.

We were fishing about 800 yards from the bridge. Not really crowded that area if you show up around 7 or 8AM. Be carefully about 300 yards from the bridge that has deep water hole which is not easy to across the river unless you have to wait for low tide or get the Pontoon boat like us.

@@minhobbies3916 I was thinking about bringing my canoe and tying it up. I understand that even if you us a small boat to access the water, you have to get out and stand in the river to fish. Do you think a canoe would work? Or would it be to hard to get it launched. I know there is no actual boat launch. Another Question: how high was the tide in your video? I looked like the water was at least waist deep.

I went there fishing one time and enough for the whole family and friends. White fish daily limit is 15 and perch has no daily limit. There is no size limit for both. Thanks.
