The first slavery in Canada was actually indigenous people enslaving other indigenous peoples for hundreds of years before any European's got there. And then when they did, Europeans were enslaved by indigenous people before Europeans enslaved any indigenous people. Slavery was also made illegal by the British Empire in 1834 (the first in the world to do so) 30 years before Canada became a country. But Ontario outlawed it in the 1790's even before that. And it's estimated Canada's underground railroad free'd at least 100,000 slaves from the south, over 20x the slaves Canada had at it's most.

I am so proud of how you turned out today. The creative arts can help people share their story to others whether painting and drawing even photography. It's important to give all the glory to God in your successes. Boast in the Lord your God , always! Attitude will also help you go places in life. I believe in following The Golden Rule " Do unto others as you would want others do unto you". That mindset helps everybody wins . It's important to love yourself the way God loves you but let Jesus love U 1st so you can love others.
