That’s is just the factory centre diff lock with traction control

No sway bars are still on the vehicle
Ive got a white 90 series diesel too based in Brissy, mines more tourer spec but keen to do up to moderate tracks if you ever want to link up id be keen to try more tracks!

look at that flex just wow. what size diameter tyres and what height and model of lift did you go with, also what other sus mods and do u have lockers or intend to install them?
The suspension is 80 series front coils in the rear of my prado with 200 series standard shocks. The front is 150 series standard front springs, with my existing 90 series 2” shocks. I also have a 1.5” body lift. My tires are 285/75/16. I don’t have lockers and at this stage I don’t intend to install them, I have more then enough fun and traction with this set up

@@reeganlupton2278 what are the major preventive maintainance servicing for this vehicle? Where im from there is no 80 series selling but there are a lot of prado 90 series available though no one has theirs modded for off road at all.

@@user-is2ys2ju3c I’ve never had a problem with the ball joints, just get them checked every time you get a service if you are worried

Damn, seen lots of 4wd videos on Glasshouse Mountains and now it had me asking myself, to maintain those powerlines does the electrical companies own a well modified utes to get them powerlines fixed, I would thinks so because I can see those ruts are not excessible by a stock work ute, especially with heavy tools and electrical parts on the tray, by the way that's one of the best looking Prado I've seen crawling along this trail, would like to see more of it, cheers and take care😁👍....
Thanks a lot mate! Funnily enough I actually work for the electrical companies that maintains these sort of lines. We drive around in twin locked ivecos on 37s. But a lot of the time there is another access track or a bypass around these sort of tracks.

Fully loaded do how do you feel the KZJ performs? I'm considering one for touring just worried it might be a bit sluggish once shes fully loaded up.
Fully loaded with the bigger tyres you do feel a bit sluggish but it’s never worried me. Just take your time and enjoy the drive

It’s a 2001 Toyota prado 3.0 turbo diesel. 2” suspension lift, 1.5” body lift

Just the standard lsd in the rear that comes from the factory

Yes it has traction control. What sort of rocks do you mean?
@@reeganlupton2278 hey mate , umm I’ve heard that the prados traction control is quite good , so if your rock crawling and a wheel lifts it should apply breaks to the wheel in the air to allowed the wheel with traction to keep going ! Could be mistaken but that’s what I’ve heard
Yeah mate the traction control in these things is unreal! Paired with a rear LSD that actually works. It will climb up almost anything I throw it at.
What 4wd gear are you using for this? Does the normal gear stick remain in Drive when 4WD is engaged? Thank you.
I'm using 4L and I have it locked in 1st gear.

And you have a 2" lift kit? Do you have any issues with the tyres rubbing on the guards?
2" suspension lift 1.5" body lift I cut away all the plastic that the Tyers hit in the guards
