If you were sorry you would not have been behind the wheel after doing the unthinkable to start with, i lost my best friend back in 1982, the laws at that time were not as harsh as they are today, the accused in my friends accident did not receive any sentence only to say his license was rovoked for 6 months and he just got a broken wrist and his BAC 6 hours after the fact was at 3 1/2 times the limit.... He was hit head on by the drunk driver who was going 120 MPH at the time of the crash.....

Do schools and other public and/or private organizations have "rights" at all? Administrative imperative isn't the same as "right". The school should at least have had some clear plausible grounds and reasons for their "request" Clear case of gratuitous unwarranted unlawful unjustifiable overreach which only serves to undermine their credibility and authority on legitimate issues within their jurisdiction. Also isn't there a concept that private property being made available for public access constitutes provisional public status. It ceases to be absolutely private property.

Perhaps this is part of the mystery as to why public school officials seem to not have american interests in mind....
