2009 Aprilia Shiver Diagnostic Port Connection
The connector that did not work was:
Goliton OBD OBD2 16 Pin Connector Diagnostic Adapter for FIAT 3 Pin - a.co/bXs4oo3
UPDATE 2019-01-19: The connector that I purchased that worked was:
D-CLICK TM Newest V8.00.034 MINI VCI for TOYOTA TIS Techstream Diagnostic Cable & Software - a.co/9T7Kwoh
However, it appears to no longer be listed on Amazon, I've searched for others and not come up with anything close. If you find a new one that you have success with please leave a link in the comments below. Sorry.
This is the battery tender pigtail I used. NOTE: You will need to swap polarity, positive is negative (red alligator clip to black ring) because this is intended to go on a battery.
Schumacher WM-12 Cable Connector for Battery Charger/Maintainer - a.co/f9bk8u3
Finally, here is a link to Paddy Shepherd’s comprehensive video to connect and use the diagnostic port with GuzziDiag: czcams.com/video/J01ZP2ohiYQ/video.html

New CUSTOM Printrbot Plus V2 Direct Drive Extruder Top Plate
zhlédnutí 141Před 10 lety
This video shows the new top plate design for the extruder carriage. This is the first time I put it all together. This new plate combines the original top plate from the Printrbot Plus V2 and the wooden direct drive extruder base in one piece of wood to bring the hot end about 6mm closer to the bed. Special thank you to Josh for the use of the laser cutter.

    Hi there, please tell me, I was in a conversation with a friend, we both have Aprilias. And from time to time as we are in a country without Aprilia's representative, we find out things for our bike via Internet mostly. On last conversation he mentioned something like, it re-sets something on the bike, if we disconnect the battery and bond the two connectors together. It was more people around and conversation desviates. But the questions remains in my head. If in fact does anything, what is it? Joao Paulo Luanda, Angola

      @BIKESystems Před 5 lety

      I know that the codes don't reset when the battery is disconnected. I haven't tried shorting the diagnostic lead. It was important to see what the code was before I cleared it to make sure it wasn't more serious. Sorry I don't have a direct answer to your question.

    For other Aprilia Shiver 750 owners - the first link above takes you to a cable on Amazon. Don't know if that fits or not. Copy and paste the description "Goliton OBD OBD2 16 Pin Connector Diagnostic Adapter for FIAT 3 Pin" into Ebay and you will get the correct plug -www.ebay.com/itm/New-16Pin-OBD2-to-3Pin-OBD1-Diagnostic-Adaptor-Connector-Cable-For-Fiat-Alpha/401231360695?epid=510671180&hash=item5d6b40b2b7 The second link allegedly taking you to the correct plug, takes you to an extension lead only - which is not what you need..

    2015 BMW I3 BEV .. I noticed flicker for the passenger side seat heater as well and no light when selecting 'M' (Manual) but not when selecting 'A' (auto) for fresh air or air recirculation. I went to the dealership today he said that the heater is completely damaged for some reason and it’s going to cost me 300€ to fix it and for the AC they need a spare part that costs 60€

    Well, after a trip to the dealer and showing them this video they ended up replacing the entire center HVAC control module. They called me prior to seeing the video to say they couldn't replicate the problem, but after seeing it they swapped the whole thing out. I wonder if the diagnosis would have been different if I was out of warranty. The issue has not come back, but my infotainment system just completely reset and I lost realtime traffic information. Off to the dealer again on Monday...

    • @BIKESystems
      @BIKESystems Před 9 lety

      Randall Lasini Yes I do. I made two versions in PDF format for you.Version 1 Countersink Extruder Bolts: drive.google.com/file/d/0B1l6ysRwkJoXZmxGTU1ibnhwWVk/view?usp=sharing This version has screw recesses to countersink the mounting bolts of the extruder marked as green circles. To cut them on the laser cutter you'll need to set the color "green" to be a deep engraving cut. Version 2 No Countersink: drive.google.com/file/d/0B1l6ysRwkJoXWi1McUtGVDhSN1k/view?usp=sharing This version has no countersink holes (green circles from the first version) for the extruder They're scaled 1:1 so you can use them on any laser cutter. If you would like the DXF file I can provide that as well, just send me your email address. Good luck!

      BIKESystems Thanks for the help, but in the end I didnt need it. I pulled apart my carriage mount/extruder, and it turns out the new ubis 1.75mm hotend I got was the same length as the 3mm one I had. After I put it in and put it back together there was no issue with the housing touching the print area. Guess I just lucked out.
