This video helped alot. My guess is with the Ultra the trans gears arent the tough gears.. The pro having the highend gears.
Great product and tip! Thanks John
Love this video ❤ Great ideas! Awesome
Sent Ali link to your messenger
The Ripper.. I had a hard time watching.. 😔😆 no words. Love the Toyota build, thats my goal some how eventually. The Spare Origin build is cool to ❤ Hardbody builds are so cool, especially for trail trucks. Ill send the ali express link in a separate comment.
Ali express has Canti lever shock system for the killerbody toyota build your doing. I might have to buy one to cause I dont want to cut my box. Its 75$ 🇨🇦
Wow! The sea colour build. Man oh man! The bumper winch mount is money, Rollers! What! ❤ A man can dream. Slobbering on my phone Another great video. Love all these videos. Turned on notifications. I was missing all these videos.
Great video❤
Perfect, I needed this video. I found an Ultra chassis and trans
I'm not sure why your videos aren't coming up.. I'm subscribed
Lovely ❤❤
👍
Great video definitely a great way to clean up wiring! After I cut the tubing with sharp scissors I like to take a lighter (or match lol) and melt the end, it will give it a nice clean end and prevent any fraying 👍I also like to shorten any wires where possible.
Thank you !
😂
Thanks for the tech tip
Thank you
First rig I bought was the vs410 Phoenix straight axle, did a rock pirate interceptor chassis build on it. Then I got the vrd and did a rock pirate kraken build on it.(looking into a new chassis) I just recently got the h10 and have been upgrading it. Love the vanquish products, and upgrades. Great quality.
Awesome video man! I appreciate you breaking down all the differences in the Vanquish lineup 😀
@@Shane_S. thank you and you’re welcome !
I have an “ultra” coming in with a VP 3 gear in it. Still has the F9 portals in clear anodized. Extremely curious how it will do with a Fusion SE 1800kv in it
@@rcmaniac7006 share it on my Facebook group when you get it. Sounds interesting!
I have 5 vanquish trail rigs all but 1 has the fusion se 1800 in them I personally love them
So... which one has the Vfd Twin?🤔🤣
The green one 👀
Thank you for making this video! It will be a great reference to share 👍
@@Andy_C_aka_Cliff_McCrawl you’re welcome. Thank you for watching.
I started buying VP’s sense the Phoenix kit came out, these days I have the straight axle kit, the Falken edition, and now there is a straight axle builder kit that been added to the fleet. Thank you for the knowledge drop on their products.
you're welcome! Thank you for watching
Tuned them into mechanical masterpieces 👍 Thanks again for the great content 🙏
Thank you!
45 years in the RC hobby and only ever seen two or three dozen Vanquish vehicles. They are just not making it into Australia in large numbers. I am tempted but it seems the company can’t keep up with parts for the American market which makes me nervous. No true Vanquish dealers down under and the Sydney shops don’t seem to be able to get a better price than anyone else shopping on the internet. It would seem Vanquish is killing the local Australian hobby shop with their approach to marketing?
Vanquish is definitely stronger in their own region. In the 90's I became a Schumacher dealer because I was racing them locally and none of my hobby stores carried Schumacher. These smaller RC companies generally only get global reach from a determined dealer. Will be interesting to see how they grow, When I got my first Vanquish I didn't know the name. My crawling buddy knew of it only from watching CZcams and we reside in the same country as Vanquish. Now our local hobby store carries Vanquish. They're growing....
As an owner of several Vanquish kits in Australia, You are worried over nothing. Hardly anything breaks, and my Trucks of Freedom took less than a week to arrive to me in Brisbane.. Sure the parts and kits will be more expensive with shipping and Aussie dollar but if you really want one go for it.. it's only 6 to 10 days away. Cheers
I'm not sure what you mean by killing Aussie hobby shops.? If they become a Vanquish dealer they get a better price, as with any dealership comes a commitment.. OZ is such a splash in the ocean as far as Hobby sales of any brand, why most hobbyshops here stock cheap Chinese rebrands and a few Traxxas kits from a couple of wholesaleers/ dealers I'm lucky and have OzRc close by and is a pretty cool shop with excellent range of everything.. as well as a few other stores
@@mickd8188 Perhaps killing is the wrong word as it implies intent to harm? Can you imagine buying a ford directly from the ford factory ? And being able to source the ford / Chevy at the same price as a local dealership . What motivation would there be to buy from the dealership? Not sure if you are aware of what has been announced recently with Trek bicycles but they are planning on selling directly to individuals. At the risk of sounding like an old man I remember only 25 years ago having 6 model/ hobby shops in town. Now it’s a long drive to Sydney and the retail stores are a shadow of their former glory. Short answer retail is not what it used to be.
@@mickd8188 Please tell me which online store to use . Vanquish or Amain etc
I love that Seafoam Green color. What paint is it? Is that covered in another video?

Friendly dig alert..! With all them scale trucks and Lc70 how can you not have a 3d printer yet? You could print Harley's roll cage and interior print file for that Cliffhanger in a snap.. Even this computer illiterate old man has one.. I don't design anything but can usually find a 3d print file to buy or download. There is a number of body mount files for the lc70 at quick glance, I'm sure you could find one to work or modify.. I recently purchased the Flashforge Adventurer 5m, value for $, Fast, plug and play , easy. Fantastic prints Opens up so many options and is rewarding.. You guys get an even better deal on printers for your $ compared to me.. dig over 😂 I think we all have that pushed asside project like your Lc70, mine is a swb Umg10.. Have a good weekend. 👍
Thank you! 🤣
Nice job, I sure enjoy your work. Thank you😄
You’re welcome and Thank you!
Mid winter in Australia. Still tee shirt weather, it’s actually pleasant and warm not boiling hot like summertime. Plan on a 3 hour drive to Sydney this weekend for a 4 hour group walk around a lake on sandstone. May your god best you.
Sounds nice !
Nice work there, the year you spent in a body shop makes sense with this project. I did auto body for a about ten years
Thank you. Learned a lot in the body shop biz, don’t miss it. 🤣

I've never had any issues with sintered gears weird they started failing on new designed rig.
It was interesting to see how some the rigs made the climb with such ease

Sweet run! Do they give you any hassle at the state park or are they cool with the trucks there?
@@HoundStuff thank you! the guys I drive with are good with knowing the rangers and keeping on good terms. We’ve had some problems with other people being less civil. Lately it’s been good.
@@theoriginfactory thanks!
A fun day of crawling.
Indeed
Have you tried the Yokohama Geolanders yet?
@@volksrodden9522 no I haven’t. Are those the new vanquish tires ?
@@theoriginfactory yes they are, they work pretty well I mostly do trail runs with my rigs and when comes time to cut a hard line they are up to the task
Great run video. Love watching these rigs do their thing!
Thank you
The red blue and white truck seems to be sitting high between the front tire and mudguard. Check the 6 minute 15 second part of video. Not sure if you can lower the body any more? And or lower the shock preload etc. I see the front bumper is limiting height of body as well. At the end of the day it’s a very scale looking rig to be climbing those rocks but every little improvement might help.
She took some dives off a cliff that day and wasn’t holding together too well. While I’m grateful we have a great area to drive most of it is slick rock high above the ground so when the traction goes away they can crash hard. I’m lucky to get one season out of a body.

Leave the protective cover on but use tamiya masking tape to stick the cut out decals to the outside on top of the cover. Then you can mask the inside using the decals as a guilde. Thats the way i am going to do it, eventually. You'll definitely be building yours WAY before me. Far too much going on here to even think about starting it yet. Can't wait to see your progress though
Thank you !
