This was originally a b side and I first heard it when Danny Baker played it on his saturday morning radio show. I rang the studio to find out who it was and the producer called me back. Thanks for that Danny. I love this cover, it retains all the sincerity of the original.

A tribute to one of the greatest songs ever written and to arguably the greatest guitarist, character, songwriter, frontman, and above all vocalist in the history of popular music. IMO, no one came close to being all of these at the same time, but Steve Marriot managed it with seeming ease. Steve could blow God Almighty off of any stage.
Neil Finn is a genius - full stop.
