The flanges on the boar sprear keep the blade and tip in the vitals. Ultimately, good analysis. One spear is for throwing, one for thrusting. With that being said i would not want the throwing spear in a situation that required thrusting. But the boar spear can be thrown. Though not as far.

I've never owned an American made bow because I'm one of the people that can't afford the American made price, especially being a Canadian where rhe exchange rate would have me paying even more, that being said the 3 recurve and 2 compound bow I have owned all came from Amazon all were cheap compared to others and all did exactly what they were supposed to, I can't say other's made in America would not perform better, but I'll probably also never know due to the high prices lol

I personally use an Ithaca mag-10...and i live it!!..i got Aria slugs for my 10 gauge in which the company was supet helpful and informative. I always buy from them!

There is a bow that will instantly make you a better shot and it's called a straight end longbow. That is why Hill used a longbow. Hill used the Mediterranean draw and never used 3 under. I shot my first deer with a Howard Hill longbow when I was 16 YO. The deer was running full out and jumped an 8 ft. ditch. My arrow hit him in the shoulder and went through the shoulder blade and into his spine, downing him instantly. I could never have hit him with any other bow.

I Just Fucking shot myself LOL

A while back I was looking at getting a Hoyt recurve because supposedly it’s the “best”, mind you it’s atleast a 1000 dollar bow. I was going to be hunting with it so I wanted something good but couldn’t justify the price. I ended up getting a Farmington archery bow that is probably the same in quality and 1/3 of the price.
