Droner.io is the best and most legitimate out there, I do a lot of work through them and they only make money if I take the job. There is a small learning curve but well worth it.

I have been doing jobs for some time with Droners.io and I have noticed these 3rd party sellers are killing the drone operators on low paying jobs. I took them for a while now I pass on them and I demand more. It is the Uber of drones and the pilots have the investment and risk and receive a very small portion of the fee.

I learned a lot, thank you. For a 18 hole fly over with drone footage of club house, driving range and practice putting green, you're probably looking at 1 to 2 full days of work and at least 2 days of editing. What would you charge for an A+ video? $3-$5K?

Hey guys! Thanks so much for this info. Ive golfed my whole life and worked around the golf industry for years. I got a DJI Mavic Pro last year and had the same idea to shoot golf courses. I live in an area that has about 40 golf courses in a 50-60 mile radius around me (Pinehurst, NC). There is definitely a market around me! I love watching quality filmed and edited video of golf courses so doing this was right up my alley! Thanks for the info to take into consideration!

I agree that there is a lot more time that goes into shooting a golf course than people think. Your were talking about shooting the holes at the right time to allow for correct lighting. What is the best time/lighting to shoot? With the sun behind you? early in the morning and the evening ? Noon?Thanks

Great podcast, I have been flying in the US and some other countries where laws are not as clear. But I will definitely take your ideas and use here in the US and abroad flights. As drone pilotes is't our duty to try to spread education on the laws that sometimes even confuses the most experience pilots. I do understand I have to educate myself too.

Do you guys think cinemagraphs in general are a media type we should add to our tool kit? Are they something you see clients paying for as it becomes more popular? I have been getting a lot of request for time lapse lately. I imagine cinemagraphs would be pitched to clients the same way. I don’t think folks know what they are yet. Love the show!
