very smart with the aluminium tap on the fridge. i did that to mine and dropped its power use by 30%
Hey mate great video again. I asked this on one of your previous videos but didn't see a reply, so thinking you may have missed it. Anyway, my Q - what's the chance of you getting hold of the INFIRAY TUBE TP25 SE to test as a sub $2000 scope? If so, I would be interested in getting your thoughts on whether you think this would be good for pigs or foxes out to about 200m. Cheers
@jasonbartlett2446 hi Jason, I'll see if I can get my hands on one to review. It should be fine for pigs and foxes out to 200m with its 25mm lens but target identification might be bad at that distance so you're going to want a good scanner for target id
Thanks mate, much appreciated and I agree about target identification, but I purchased the infiray eye e3w based on your last recommendation and a hikmicro Alpex for identification and it's been a great combo. So was thinking combined with the NV this could be a good little addition to the .308 when I run into the odd pig. Thanks again, stay safe. Cheers
Excellent mate keep it up
Thanks mate 👍
Gees there's some rabbits about! Mate you should see how MANY roos there are on the fringes around Melb and the suburbs atm! I went out for a a drive to my fave park for a bit of a ramble and the amt of roos I saw in paddocks next to the road was amazing!
@@Urbanfisho we've got a bad roo problem in mulwala now, I get roo's on my front lawn every night now right in town lol
@@Outdoorsaustralia Then the environment & climate must be GOOD for them to proliferate like that! As you know roos are selective breeder/birthers, & they only birth in GOOD conditions!
you need to learn how to shoot, great laugh though !
1K m throw! GOOD for a hand held torch!
It's pretty amazing
@@Outdoorsaustralia Sure is!
Warrior come out to playiyay, Warrior come out to playiyay, Warrior...
It's deadly on the rabbits
@@Outdoorsaustralia I'll bet!
Good demo. Quick question. I love your little gas powered soldering iron... What brand and model number? Thank you.
Hi mate it's brand is Weller and it's called porta sol
@@Outdoorsaustralia Thank you, all the way from Canada, another colony that turned out OK.
Qual é melhor e mais nítida para caça a t3 ou a t2pro

I've had a chance to play with one for a while. It's got some things I like and some things I don't. Overall it's a good light. Hiding the charge indicator under the cover for the USB port is a choice I wouldn't have made. I spammed the flashlight's buttons to see if i could get erratic behavior from the light. I was able to elicit brightness level fallbacks a few times where turbo and high were disabled until the flashlight was reset by unscrewing the tail cap and tightening it back. The fallbacks happened when the light was cool and charge was solid green according to the light. I have had one brightness level fallback malfunction when i wasn't trying to induce malfunctions. Yes glitches can happen with this light. Ymmv. I like the build quality, I like that it's got a good bright spot. Battery life is great. Brightness is great. It'll throw a good way. I'm fine with instant strobe for security, but for 99% of life situations instant turbo would probably be more useful. Still, strobe gives you an edge in hairy situations
Awesome vid mate. Convinced me to get one for myself. Keep it up!
Omg I know your son! He looks like you
Which one ?
@@Outdoorsaustralia Connor
Yeah he does a bit
you should check out pard's thermal/nightvision all in one scope with lrf and light.
Thanks for the comparison of the uv function. Only one I've found so far.

Thanks mate 👍
nice
Thank's mate 👌
Any chance you can do a video on the new ballistic calculator update for the TH50 V2?? Cheers 👍
Hi mate, I've done the th50 v2 update with the ballistic calculator and everything is good but I haven't got the rangefinder to actually test it. I'll try and get my hands on one
@@Outdoorsaustralia 👌👍
Is this 100% thermal, or a hybrid thermal / infra-red?
100% thermal only
@@Outdoorsaustralia Thanks. Is there an affiliate link?
@edwardsimpson2709 no sorry mate I've got no affiliate links or discounts unfortunately

when you zoomed in on the hares, there was a fox in the back ground another few hundred metres behind them
Yeah in the trees in the background? I couldn't tell what that was but it was 1500 -2000 meters away
@@Outdoorsaustralia could tell by the way it moved. I'm watching from a computer screen, maybe easier to spot. very impressive scopes

Raising titanium off direct heat just an inch or so is enough to give the entire surface an even amount of heat and in this scenario, I find Titanium perfect because that heat efficiency going directly through the material to food is perfect. If I can't raise it off direct heat source, then the only thing I use is steel now.
What about boiling hot dogs in a titanium pot? Do they scorch/gum up the pot?
No no no ….Not the 17 hmr ! A scope like that deserves at least a 22-250 or 223. Cheers and thanks for ya efforts.
Unreal clarity. Can't wait to see some foxes at distance 👍
Skippy's all lit up!
Light up without light!
Yes definitely 😉
They CAN'T sneak around in the dark with that scope!
No hiding from it lol
@@Outdoorsaustralia No sir, Lordy no!
nice mate only dream of gear like this
It's definitely at the more expensive end of the thermal price range.
Curious how this cuts through the water compared to the Marauder 2 (14k Lumens) for bow fishing. The Marauder 2 is great for lighting up the water. Not sure if the throw on the Javelot would cut through the water or just reflect off. Hard to tell in the video let me know which one you prefer for spotting fish at night thanks!
I think a broad beam would be better over water as a thrower with the tight spot sort of blows my vision out

Thanks for the review. 😊interestingly Amazon has the open circuit voltage listed in the specs at 23.5 for the SP035 but the site you have on your link has the OCV at 50volts. I need it below 28volts because the Redarc manager 30 is limited to the OCV.
The sp033 is around 22v open circuit and around 17-18 when under load
@@Outdoorsaustralia yeah that’s right. But I’m wondering about the SP035.
Maybe this type is ok. I bought 3 Allpowers 200w monocrystalline portable panels in 2022 and all of them failed within 2 years
NO gaslighting for SOME people! ;oP
Lol, no gaslight needed 🤣
@@Outdoorsaustralia Tell THAT to metal health 'professionals'! ;o)
Certainly SAVE on mantles! LOL! NO night shots/samples?
Nah no mantles needed 😉 lol. I should have showed some night shots
🇮🇩🙋♂️
did you notice it spooks predators ? I’ve been debating amber or red as amber is more versital. but red is likely better for creeping and getting set up in woods.
It's in between.... amber does some times still spook foxes but not as much as white light, but red is the best I've found they hardly take any notice of me when im using red light
Good vid Daz
Thank's Shane
Great review, was the footage of the paddock with the roos around 17:44 taken at day or night?
Father, this is amazing! Great device, great hunting! To your fellow hunters from Ukraine, it’s very interesting what you use for food from hunting there? Make a video of how you cook, store meat, recipes? We remember about Australia from the old movie Dandy the Crocodile☝💕🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦
Damn got that zeroed in awesome stuff
I just got cheap qr rings but they seem to return to zero well
That TH50 is really something (and that Howa of course! lol). Great shooting too. Your vids always bring me back to the days of coyote hunting with my dad to keep em from the lambs. I want to say we used a .22 Hornet barrel in his Contender, but I know he got one with the .44 barrel at some point! I saw the aftermath haha. He's a great shot too. Have a good one!
Thanks mate, yeah the th50 is a good thermal and the howa is way better than most people would believe 👍
Aww poor bunbuns got smashed!
I HOPE you DIDN'T leave all that underground mutton lying around!
