Yes, dirt and debris can accumulate at the overlap point, but the cleaning process is super easy, and nothing remains in that area if you clean it properly. Here, a heat gun is not used to fuse the two parts together. In case it's necessary, a butt joints technique can also be used.

In case of a bubble during the application of a decorative film, you can try lifting the film where the bubble is located (if it is on a laminated surface, tile, etc.). You can also make a small hole in the bubble and gently heat that area.
