I did plant chores all day Saturday. Bought a new mosquito 🦟 poison called BMC to put in my pots to kill gnat larvae, so I had to water all 48 of them 😅. Cleaned the house, had a massage and walked the dogs. Perfect day!

You're lucky to live where a Walmart actually has plants. We're lucky to see peace lilies. Although they did have a peperomia beetle this year so I did get that 😊

So I might be going on a limb here but bluer-green plants look way more stunning in terra cotta because blue and orange sit opposite on the color wheel and both have a “dirty” aspect to their color. A bright yellow-green Hoya does a weird contrast with the terra cotta orange. Does that make sense? I put my australis lisa in a stark white porcelain pot and she is a stunner ❤❤❤

Hi Joy. I have a Pothos Marble Queen which was about the size of yours when I received it and I had it hanging in my bathroom for about 6 months, you wouldn't believe how much it's grown. I decided to repot it into a mix of Pon, Perlite & leca and move it to our living room where it's getting perfect light. It is almost to the top of the macrame hanger and although it's a little droopy after repotting I have no doubt that it will reach the ceiling in another 6 months. An amazing plant, you can't help but like it.

I don't understand why CZcamsers get so many pests. I have over a hundred plants and I never get pests and all my plants are in groups because of my few windows. Strange

Love Pothos so easy going

I’ve got too many I adore right now cause they’re all growing, but, syngonium Albo as well, p. Ring of Fire, P. Lynette/campii, my 6 foot tall Adensonii (that I’ve gotta chop and extend for the first time, I’m scared lol) my A.Cuprea, my philos Florida and F. Ghost, my Thai Constellation, my Plumerias, my Gloriosum, and all of my jungle Cacti!

I have been gushing over my calathea medallion lately. It is so beautiful. And my philodendron melinonii. I just love looking at them

My July favorites: E. Manjula, Staghorn ferns (all three of them), M. Thai Constellation (she unfurled her first fenestrated leaf this month), always my Domino Peace Lily, all of my Snake plants, my new 'Shiverana' rubber tree, A. Silver Dragon (little one is growing like a weed. 5 new leaves in my care), the Tiger fern (she is two years old and still alive!), Blue Star fern, Thanksgiving cactus, Syngonium 'Milk Confetti', I have a Maidenhair fern that is alive and growing (this is the plant that I struggle with the most!), and my little P. Ring if Fire. I have two favorite hoya, the Curtisii and the varigated Wenetti. I have 100 plants and 98% of them are thriving. #1 on my wish list is a large pot of varigated Cast Iron. A new one to me is your Scindapsus 'Platinum', think that is going on my wish list.

July Faves. Anthurium Doc Block f2, Epipremnum pinatum marble, Syngonium Chiapense, Hoya Sarawak, Hoya Sunrise, Huernia zebrina, Jatropha podagrica, Cyphostemma Hardy Har Har (a hybrid), Variegated Philodendron Burle Marx, Monstera Burle Marx flame and more lol. Hoya undulata is high on my wishlist.

I have it on my list to put my Epi Albo on a pole this week...but maybe I should do a plank instead! It's throwing so many very white leaves, but I love it!

I completely agree with the slowness of the manjula. I thought I was the only one who thought the trailing vines were wonky, lol! Good to know there are others who feel the same way!

Ooo! An Albo monstera!! Lucky goose!! I can’t call her basic ❤ I’m more patient now waiting for the right wish list plants to come along, I’m no longer buying whatever I can. That Alocasia is stunning too ❤ I got overly excited about a couple plants I purchased that I fully didn’t appreciate after having it for a while, I didn’t feel bad purging them, maybe in someone else’s care they’d be better or they’d appreciate the leggy or running growth etc Silver sword and pink princess were 2 of them. If I don’t get growth in a year, or super weird growth bye bye How do you keep your open moss poles moist? I’ve left corms with the mother and ended up with lil babies, made my plants bushier, I use a nail brush to get the casing off corms,

I just made a tiny moss pole like you do. If you use amazing tape it helps hold in moisture and puts more focus on the plant rather then ties. Your VMA is gorgeous

The best decision I made in regards to moss poles was to buy them from Rousseau. They close in the front and are so easy to use. Wildfern has a discount code so you can get 20 for $85. Expensive, but worth every penny.
