I had to subscribe! I watch a lot of others but your settings provided on each image and your video is done very well. Thank you! I have picked up a used 200mm to 500mm lens and used it on a Nikon D5300. Wow is an understatement! I got such clear images but yes, focus is difficult on jasmine vines and really leafy trees. I am really good at getting birds in congested areas but prefer them not to be anyway. Nailed some great hummingbird pics a few days after getting that lens! I do have a Sony A73 but no big zoom lens for it...too expensive for the used price so far.

I bought it because I had the 13mm 1.4 on Fuji. This is an excellent lens, and it was selling for 460.00 on Amazon and B&H. With Amazon cash, I got it for 466.00 tax included. Excellent video, Adrian, and the reviews on the Laowa 10mm 0 Distortion I still dream about buying that lens too.....overkill, probably right.

Hello Adrian, I purchased the 20mm when it first came out, in part due to your first review on it. It is a lens that cost very little and takes no space or weight in your camera bag. I have used it several times with my Z7 and I am very happy with it. It is a great companion to the 24-70 F4S when you need a little wider view. Great comparison, thank you.

Another thing I neglected to mention is the Viltrox 16mm F1.8 is better in low light situations due to its faster aperture. If you’re budget’s tight and you’re traveling, hiking, vlogging and need a light weight set up - grab the 20mm F2.8. For astro, low light, landscape or architecture I think the 16mm F1.8 is pretty amazing.

A Nikon 14-30 with the tamron 35-150 is a killer combo for sure. The 35-150 replaces sonmany lenses. The 24-120 is grt for travel sure but when it comes to versatility the tamron is better. For things like capturing any occasions or concerts of your children the tamron wins hand down.

I own and use the 14-24mm f/2.8 Nikkor auto focus zoom lens. I have never owned or used the 16-35mm f/4 auto focus zoom lens because the f/4 maximum aperture is too slow for my style and subject matter. I do, however, own and use a Nikkor 20-35mm f/2.8 auto focus zoom lens.

The D850 is the finest DSLR ever made by Nikon to add the vertical grip increase in fps to 9 frames a second and also big file size for heavy crop etc. but D750 Joy uses Great Excellent image quality + Outstanding dynamic range at low ISOs. My D750 is still going strong, and I'm really happy with the images it produces (not leaving me wanting on image quality). The lenses available now for mirrorless though are so tempting (sharper, smaller, sometimes lighter, and different focal lengths esp. for wide angle) and just aren't available for F-mount. Has me really debating a Z6iii, or a Z8! Or, maybe just a D780 for a minor upgrade.

Thanks Phil. Most of the lenses I donate to a local photography club so each member can have access and improve their skills. Have a great weekend 🙏

56mm on APSC makes it 85mm full frame!! Perfect focal length for portraits!! Bargain price as well!!

Thx for the review. I'm still waiting on Nikon to release a new crop sensor camera like a Z90 or Z50II

Hi Adrian, a great video as always, buddy! I said that already in another comment, but it really gives me once more to think how good these budget lenses have got over time. Maybe it is not the best one. But the ratio between the price and what you get is stunning. Thank you for the video and have a great weekend, đŸ‘đŸ» Christian
