Classic song, very underrated
Doc was great.
Top tier gutiar riff
The legendary Brewster brothers, one of the best guitar duos ever, I’d rate them In the Malcolm Young (R.I.P), and Angus Young class of guitar duos. The Angels, brilliant live Aussie pub rock band, saw them live several times, absolutely great live. It’s criminal how The Angels never blew up like AC/DC did.
Red dog song
Wow, incredible energy

Go hard go real 🙏
Angels Rock N Good! R.IPDoc
Fun fact: the guitarist, Bob Spencer, revealed in a post to the SSGuitar forums, that in this performance, he was actually using a Squire practice amp, stuffed in a road case, mic'd up by a Sennheiser 421. The Marshall cabs on stage are mainly for show.
Dave Gleeson sings with a pronounced Aussie accent whereas Doc's soft Northern Irish brogue was very noticeable & intrinsic to his sound, which nobody could approximate.
Great memories. ❤❤
Classic Aussie rock taken to another level
Love it :D
EPIC
that riff is still killer 45 years later!
No way get f*cked f*ck off 👏👏👌👌👌😅😅😅
Miss ya Doc...
Went down to Santa Fe where Renoir paints the walls ( no way get fuck -fuck off) 👍 .
Seen the angels many times ,great backbone of up and coming life's journey, good stuff ❤️✌️
Noway get fucked fuck off, am I ever gone to see your face again ,great words ❤️✌️
We didn't realise back then that we were watching the development of one of the greatest rock bands this country has ever seen; fantastic lyrics, awesome music, one of the greatest front men in rock and absolutely sensational live... just pure talent. What a legendary band :)
Went down to Santa fe..❤@16yrs..in 79.Seeing The ANGELS..DOC..2B,Honest I was a kid from Dunedin.But ❤'d these Guys..What a time.will nva 4get Living in Sydney.Such a Great Time R.I.P.Doc.Nesson.![&,Bill.Clough.too.Miss you' bad ]😢State of Origin! gm.2.Tonite,Fk i miss ol Syd.town.but Go Blues.😂😮😊
Rock Arena is little remembered today but it was a great show. It had an excellent format with live performances & interviews. Typical ABC though they buried it late on Tuesday nights at odd times, it was on-again off-again etc.
There is only one Angels lineup, and it ain’t with Dave. Sorry… it’s Doc or nothing for me. Doc was the Angels. Treated extremely badly by the Brewster boys after they split.
No way get fucked ,fuck off ,sung this classic a few times .good live band the angels ❤️✌️
What a song
sad that we get old and pass... can only be grateful that somehow we got lucky and lived our youth in the music era of The Angels... seeing Doc and the guys rock the stage from pubs n rsl's to Myer Music Bowl was really something memorable... 2 other Aussie bands that rate at the top are AC/DC (obviously) and Cold Chisel.
Just before we set up for a show , the manager comes up and says "if u play this song Ill pull the plug, do not play this song" 😆
Momenta😎♥️🍊 🇦🇺
I didn't know doc had long hair
Doc was the Best!!🙌
Why is there no like button?
Lived in Taree.. nsw..every aussie band called through our relationship every second weekend in the 80s..the angels brought the biggest crowds..then come and at the nightclub after there gig..those were the days
Welcome to the end of the 1970s. What happens when a drunken crowd goes feral & attacks the stage. I recall watching this concert broadcast live from the Sydney Opera House until it was brought to an abrupt end after Doc Neeson of the Angels was injured by a flying beer can.
Great song!🤘🤘
Nice video about a nice bloke.
🐲🐉🍬🍬💵🛏️
Whomever writes the intro. to novels 😎🪞♥️
the angels almost blew the roof of one night at south maroubra pub 1980s. we were young whipper snippers teens hanging around the back of the pub drinking kb cans. the whole croud started singing iam i ever gonna see your face again.then the croud would sing. no way get fucked fuck of. absolutely sensational. never forget it. now my kids admit the best singers and bands were from the late 70s-80s. cold chisel-australian crawl-divinyls-acdc-midnight oil and so many others. and the best thing about it you could see them at the local pubs.
Australians most underrated band , Great Live band in there day.rip doc and chris
They should have given it up the minute Doc left. No Angels without Doc. Sorry, Dave, you're not a patch. RIP BN 💞
this needs to be in the australian cizenship test
I remember this as a kid,1978! Wow, that long ago. classic song. Every time I have gone to France, always found Aussies who know the lyrics & sing it!
Status Quo should be thankful this came out or Lonely Night would have been just collecting dust rather than royalties.
saw them in early 90s in auckland nz fucken unreal
400th Doc like....'bout time yeah
Punches the camera
I am blessed my era had real music, real musicians - people could actually sing!
